FIFTY Anabelle shuffled and turned in the bed and her eyes finally opened. She stretched and smiled when memories of the previous day invaded her mind. She had managed to help a family in the pack and now they were safe, that gave her a boost to the ego she needed as a Luna. And she ended the day with her mate’s arms around her. FIFTY ONE Anabelle continued pacing around her room and kept ruffling her hair, she was the definition of confused and distraught. The room was a complete mess, clothes were lying on the bed messily and there were other things that littered the floor. The closet was cleared and now empty. She had to clear everything important and move her things to Jaxon’s room…hers and Jaxon’s room. After getting the shock of the day, she had decided to go home because she had nothing important to do at the packhouse. She told Jaxon that she was going to move her things when she left the packhouse and he had offered to send an omega with her but she had declined. FIFTY TWO When Anabelle opened her eyes she did not expect Jaxon to still be next to her with his arm draped over her waist protectively. When she looked up she met his gaze and a raspy ‘good morning’ which made her face form a smile and her body to instinctively move closer to him. A hum left her chest as Jaxon’s body heat spread to her, she was more than happy in this bubble. It was not really a usual thing for Jaxon to stay late in bed but when he did, his mate was the happiest. FIFTY-THREEAnabelle kept on massaging her body parts that were in pain because of the number of times she had hit the floor. She continuously kept on complaining and she was more bitter because she had not been able to get Jaxon on the floor equivalent to the number of times he had landed her on the floor. Twenty to one was nowhere near equivalent, if anything the one still felt like a zero. Jaxon had a smug look on his face through the whole thing which only made Anabelle huff and roll her eyes in annoyance. When they finished, Jaxon told Micah and Adam to go harder on her.
