Chapter Nine

WILLIAM'S POV

I was jet lagged and exhausted from the flight, from the wedding and today I've not had a full day rest.

I wasn't really excited about this but I couldn't say the same for Naya, she was bustling with energy, like she wasn't forced to be in a plane for twelve hours coming here, throughout the flight she kept herself busy with her laptop and when she got bored, she forced me to play a game of chess with her, I consider myself to be good at chess, but she definitely is a grandmaster, out of the nine times we played, I only won once, and with the gleam in her eyes, I knew she just let me win so I should continue playing, it was humiliating.

At the car, Naya watched everything go by like a child excited about her first camping trip, she was awed and fascinated with everything she saw and kept on asking questions.

Finally we arrived at the beach house, the housekeeper who has kept the place running for years, Mrs Korinthos, welcomed us.
