Two strangers.

One unforgettable night.

And a secret that changed everything.

Seven years ago, Elise Ramos was heartbroken, drunk, and done with love. After discovering her boyfriend was cheating — the same week her mother fled an abusive marriage — she ran away to Baguio to forget. There, she met him.

Gabriel Navarro, a man with demons of his own, was nursing a shattered heart after the woman he loved chose her career over him. Wasted and bitter, he didn’t care about anything… until a stranger sat next to him, just as lost as he was.

They talked. They drank. They laughed about how love ruins people.

And then… they made a mistake.

One night. No names. No promises.

She left before he woke up.

He forgot everything — or tried to.

Now, seven years later, Elise is a single mother doing everything she can to give her daughter a good life. She applies for a job at a powerful company, desperate to start over.

What she doesn’t know?

The man sitting behind the CEO’s desk… is the same man from that night.

The man who left her pregnant.

Gabriel doesn’t recognize her at first.

But something about her feels hauntingly familiar — and when he starts remembering, the truth threatens to destroy them both.

Will Elise finally tell him the secret she’s been hiding all these years?

Can Gabriel accept a daughter he never knew he had…

Or will the past repeat itself, tearing them apart again?

-------------------------------------------------

Seven years later...

Polished marble floors. High ceilings. A receptionist who didn’t even look up from her iPad. Everything screamed “I don’t belong here.”

Pero kailangan niya 'to.

“Okay, kaya mo ’to, Elise.

Ding.

Pagbukas ng pinto, doon niya siya nakita.

Nakatayo. Naka-black suit. Matangkad. Malamig ang aura.

Gabriel Navarro.

The CEO.

Elise froze.

He looked… exactly the same.

Mas mature. Mas refined. Pero parehong intense ang mga mata.

Parang hindi na-inlove. Parang hindi nasaktan. Parang walang anak.

Anak.

Parang gusto niyang mahulog sa sahig.

“This can’t be happening…”

At may nangyaring kakaiba.

His eyes narrowed.

He looked at her like he was trying to remember something.

Something blurred. Something broken.

A flash. A hotel room.

Rain against a window.

A name he never asked.

He blinked. Looked away. Walked off.

“Oh my God…”

Elise nearly forgot how to breathe.

Flashback - Seven Years Ago, Baguio

Back to Present

“Elise Ramos?” tawag ng receptionist. “You’re next.”

Parang biglang bumigat ang katawan niya.

Pero naglakad siya papunta sa elevator.

Dire--diretso.

Floor-to-ceiling windows. Mahogany desk. Minimalist but expensive.

Walang emosyon. Walang ngiti.

“Elise Ramos,” he said flatly, without looking up.

“Yes, po…” she answered, barely above a whisper.

He flipped a page. Scan. Flip. Scan.

Then, finally…

He looked up.

Straight into her eyes.

And for the first time in seven years, their eyes locked.

His were unreadable. Her chest tightened.

Sht.

"Miss Ramos…" his voice was deep, slow, almost cautious.

“Yes, sir?”

He stared at her. Mahabang titig. Parang may hinahanap sa mukha niya.

Parang may gustong alalahanin.

Parang... may alam.

She tried to straighten her back and look composed, pero nanginginig na ang mga daliri niya sa lap.

"Do you usually space out during job interviews?"

Biglang malamig ang boses niya.

Oh no.

“I—uh, I’m sorry po. I was just—”

“Because this isn’t a good first impression,” Gabriel said sharply, sitting back. “You’ve been in this room for three minutes and haven’t answered a single question. You’ve just been staring at me.”

Napahiya siya. Namula. Parang gusto niyang lamunin siya ng upuan.

“I apologize, sir. I was just—nervous po. It won’t happen again.”

Gabriel’s jaw clenched. He looked down at her resume again.

“Single mother,”

nakalagay sa personal info.

His brow twitched.

Single mother?

"How long have you been in the industry?" he asked, neutral again.

“Five years po… in small firms. Mostly freelance projects. I took a break din po for... personal reasons.”

Gabriel hummed, still scanning.

He tapped the edge of her resume with one hand. The other rubbed his temple, as if something was bothering him.

And then...

"Have we met before?"

BOOM.

She froze. Eyes wide. Mouth slightly open.

“I-I don’t think so, sir,” she lied.

Gabriel tilted his head, eyes narrowing. Parang 'di siya kumbinsido.

He leaned forward slowly. "You seem… familiar. Your voice."

Elise forced a small smile. "Maybe you’ve interviewed someone with the same name po."

Gabriel didn’t smile back.

“I don’t forget people easily,” he said, almost coldly.

Nanlamig ang batok ni Elise.

Flashback Snap – Baguio, 7 years ago

"Do you want to forget everything?"

"Yes."

"Even just for one night?"

"Please."

Back to Present

Silence.

Gabriel cleared his throat and finally leaned back.

“You may go. We’ll be in touch,” he said, voice clipped.

"Thank you po for your time, Sir Navarro."

As she turned to leave, she could feel his eyes following her.

She didn’t look back.

But he did.

Gabriel's POVTahimik ang buong unit.Too quiet.Elise was sitting on the couch, yakap-yakap si Sofia as if afraid na baka kunin ito kahit nakapikit lang siya saglit.I couldn’t look at her. Kinuha ko ang phone ko at tumayo.“Gab…?”Narinig ko boses ni Elise— she call me out in a soft voice..Hindi ako lumingon.I dialed Lucas.“Pre, kailangan ko ng pabor.” in this tone i know i can rely to Lucas, minsan ko lang siya tinatawag ng "Pre" and when I called him like that he know na may seryosong nangyari“Put*—ano nangyari? Ba’t ganyan boses mo?”“Come here… kunin mo muna si Sofia. Took care of her for the mean time”Narinig ko hinaing ni Lucas.“Gab… sigurado ka? Elise needs her.”“I know,” sagot ko, swallowing hard.“I just… I can’t see her like this right now. Hindi ako makakapag-isip.”I en

I brushed it off. No.No.Not him.Not now.“Daniel?” ha

  • THE CEO WHO LEFT ME PREGNANT   Chapter 39: Were done, Marianne.

GABRIEL’S POVI thought today would be just another exhausting day at the office—meetings, reports, plans. And ayun na nga. Mahinang tawag niya.Kumunot noo ko. “Akala ko ba… aalis ka na? Didn’t you say you’re going back abroad?” Yes abroad that's what I heard from the staff yesterday.Yung ngiti niya lalo pang lumambot, like she was about to cry.“I changed my mind. Kasi… ikaw pa rin.”Ah, here we go again.“Marianne,” I sighed, rubbing my temple. “You left. You disappeared. Hindi ako naghahanap. Hindi ako nagh

  • THE CEO WHO LEFT ME PREGNANT   Chapter 38: Retaliation and Reckoning

Gabriel didn’t sleep that night. He sat in his home office, the faint city lights reflecting on the glass window, his jaw clenched and his hand gripping a folder marked “CONFIDENTIAL.”Lucas entered quietly, placing a cup of black coffee beside him.“Sir, here’s everything you asked for — screenshots, transaction records, and the message thread between Elise and Elias.”Gabriel nodded, eyes dark and cold.“Good. File the official complaint. I want that bastard nowhere near Elise or Sofia again.”Lucas hesitated. “Sir, what about Marianne?”Gabriel looked up, a dangerous smirk forming on his lips.“She’s next.”Pagkagising ni Elise, parang mabigat ang dibdib niya. For the first time in weeks, she wasn’t hiding. Gabriel made sure of that.Pagbaba niya sa sala, naroon na si Gabriel, nakasuot ng simple white shirt, coffee mug in hand.“Morning,” he greeted softly.“Morning,” she replied, v

  • THE CEO WHO LEFT ME PREGNANT   Chapter 37: Shadows, Threats, and Unwanted Manipulations

Elise barely slept the whole night.Every time she closed her eyes, she saw Sofia’s scared little face, Elias looming over her, and that cold, calculated smile of Marianne flashing in her mind. Sofia clung to her, mumbling, “I don’t want lolo…”“I know, love, I know.”Meanwhile, Marianne was in a luxurious café, sipping her latte, naka-smile pero may mala-sly glint sa mata.“Finally,” she whispered to herself. “I’ll make them crumble.”Her phone buzzed. “Let’s see how far this goes.”Elise’s phone wouldn’t stop buzzing. Every few hours, it was Elias.

  • THE CEO WHO LEFT ME PREGNANT   Chapter 36: Shadows from the Past

Tahimik ang opisina. Too quiet. Naka-coffee na siya, ready na for the day, nang biglang dumating si Gabriel, halatang puyat at iritable.“Elise, in my office. Now.”Ay, putik. Ano na naman ‘to?Pagpasok niya, tahimik si Gabriel, hawak ang phone, tapos binagsak ‘to sa mesa.“Do you know about this?”Kinuha ni Elise ang phone. Naka-flash sa screen ang news article — “Former convict released after serving 8 years — identified as businessman Elias Ramos.”Nangalumbaba ang mukha ni Elise, halos mawalan ng kulay.“T-Tatay ko…” mahina niyang sabi.“Yes,” sabi ni Gabriel, mabigat ang tono. “At guess what? He was seen near your old apartment this morning.”Napaatras siya. “Hindi… imposibleng pumunta siya doon. Wala na kami ro’n—”“Elise.” Tinitigan siya ni Gabriel, matalim pe
