Mag-log inBy dawn, I was taken away, walking to my doom.
My eyes were swollen because I drowned in my tears overnight. Damn it, Casa! Why did you have to punish me this way?
Memories filled my head. It was after I told her my pregnancy. I never knew she loved Calvin, but to accuse me of stealing him? It was something else.I never asked to be Luna. In fact, I wanted death, but Calvin had come in and showed me love that I thought of giving life a chance.
“I hope you are cozy in there. The Lycan Kingdom would soon come into view.” The guards said, interrupting my thoughts.
My legs hurt, and the skin of my soles had peeled off. “Please can we rest?” My voice came out croaked, and I realised how parched my throat was.
“There is no rest for a killer.” The man snarled at me, and I lowered my gaze. Every part of me ached, and burned.
Blood was left in my footprints and every step burned. I was too weak to cry, and even if I was strong, I don’t think there were any tears left.
My heart ached. I wanted to tell them I was pregnant, but my instincts screamed against it.
‘I’m not letting anyone get rid of you.’ I thought, thinking of my unborn child.
If Calvin knew, he would get rid of it, and he would do it quietly, especially with how he hated me.
I held the pain, and strangely I could feel the wetness down my cheeks.
My tongue came up, liking away the tears, while I felt relief at the wetness. It had been two days since I had been given any food or water.
The carriage paused, before moving back sharply. The next thing I knew, I crashed heavily to the floor, the sharp stone tearing open my forehead.
“Stand up, you witch.” A guard came up, but I had lost the last of my strength, and my body moved limply.
Without any mercy, he threw me forward and I crashed down on the floor. There was a slight difference. The floor was smoother, and my senses perked.
At that moment, everything went still. There was no noise, no other feeling, it was basically nothing.
It was like a line of connection was met at that moment. My wolf raised her head, and her voice came out weakly.“Mate.”
I couldn’t believe it. We were in the lycan kingdom. Was my mate one of the guards who had brought me?
No. That's not right. If it was guard, I could have sensed it a while ago.
Raising my head slowly, my eyes met straight with another set of eyes.
Dark, green orbs stared back at me. In that second, they flashed a red hue, causing a calm feeling to come over me.
A simple interaction was enough to take my strength, and the next thing I saw was
darkness.I had found my mate in the Lycan kingdom, yet I didn’t know who he was.
“My mate.” That was the first thing that left my lips when I woke up, greeted by a splitting headache.
My hands instinctively went to my stomach, hoping nothing had happened to my child.
“You are pregnant.” The voice came instantly, and I turned around in fear, inching farther from the mouth of the bed.
Facing me was a six feet, five inches tall man, his green eyes stared back at me. I held my breath.
In my twenty five years of living, I had seen handsome men before.
Calvin was the one topping the list with his thick muscles and streamlined waist, but that didn’t prepare me for any of this.“Please don’t kill me.” I bit my lips, turning away because it felt like looking was a sin.
But his image never left my head, and the way he stared at me.
The red pupils flashed in my head, and a gasp left my lips. My body instinctively turned to him. It was unlike anything I have ever felt.
My temperature rose, and I could feel a pool between my legs.
This wasn’t me. It felt like something was invading my body, and I still couldn’t take my eyes off him.
The desire I felt at the moment, surpassed the fear in my heart.
“It’s the Lycanic Mate’s bond.” His deep yet rich voice, resounded as he stepped closer.
Soon enough, he was close enough for his smell to fill my nose.
My wolf howled in excitement but I didn’t want to feel this way. I inched back, putting the blanket over my head.
“Please move back. You… I can’t think clearly if you are this close.” I exhaled, relieved that his scent wasn’t as thick.
But the fear still lodged deep in my stomach, as the horrors and nightmares played in my mind. This was a man who had gone into territories and completed ultimate massacres.
The next second, the blanket was swiped from hand, and his face was mere inches from me. My breath stopped as I stared into his bright green hue.
Then he moved back, stretching to his full length, while he stared down at me.
“A weak yet pregnant omega is my mate. I am not complaining, as it had been a hundred years, I honestly thought I wasn’t going to find a mate.” His chuckle rang through the air, and yet, it didn’t calm me down.
If anything, I was more worried.
“Tell me. Who did this to you? So I might rip out his spine from the back of his throat.”
A picture of Calvin without his spine appeared in my head, and I shook my head. “It’s my fault. I killed my sister.”
The silence after that was so awkward that I had to look towards the floor.
“You must think I am quite the fool. An omega like you is not capable of committing murder. I would threaten you with torture, but apparently, the Lycans feel every emotions of their mate.”
I stared at him, thinking about his words. Does that mean this strong sexual that seems to make my legs tremble wasn’t coming from me?
He looked at him, and his gaze narrowed, his eyes running down my body. “It doesn’t mean I don’t have other ways to torture you.”
I had to leave this place. It wasn't just Selvathin’s reaction. It was everything. The thick bloodlust that I sensed was coming my way. However, my wolf was excited.“Ahh.” I cried out, clutching my stomach. Carrying a wolf inside of me was another thing. Humans and werewolves were different. A pregnant wolf could get ready for child birth delivery in two weeks after she was confirmed pregnant. It felt like my stomach was being twisted inside out.The pain was like a sharp hot knife in my abdomen.“Adriana. He's coming.” My wolf said, excitement filling her voice. It was like she was leaping inside me, wanting to come out.“Can't you feel it? He's angry.” I groaned out, closing my leg tightly, trying to stop what was happening to me.But it only reduced the pain a little. The door swung open with a loud crash, and there he was..Selvathin, Alpha King of the Lycan, staring at me with blood red eyes.Relief filled me in an instant and I was overpowered by a raging sense of desire. But n
SELVATHIN’S POVIt couldn’t be. There was no way. This has to be some kind of sick joke. I fumed, strolling down the hall. “Where is Castera?” My voice sounded exactly like a growl, and the growl of an Alpha was not to be trifled with. “My King. She is at her potion palace.” A guard came up to me, and I nodded. I wasn’t going to let my anger get the best of me. There was no way a Moon witch still existed. I knew this because I was the reason for their massacre.“Selvathin. Roaring out my name isn’t going to make me come out any faster.” A sing-song voice echoed in the chamber, and I knew exactly who it was.“This is no time for jokes, Castera. I found my mate.”“I know.” Castera replied before I could even continue, and it made me frown. The reason a witch like her was allowed so close to me was simple because of the loyalty of her generation.“My mate is a Moon Witch. I saw the dreaded mark on her. She’s also an omega.” It was also strange. Moon witches were humans. They carried s
“What has happened is in the past,” He said, after listening to my story. “Do you want to keep the child?”“Yes!” I said, without hesitation. “My name is Sevalthin.” He said, turning to the door, “And get rid of those thoughts. There’s no way you can escape me.” It was the last thing he said, before leaving through the door. I bit down on my lips. He had seen through me perfectly, and after looking around, there was no way I could escape. The sole of my feet weren’t healed yet, and my bones still ached me. It was the down side of being an omega, and someone with a late wolf. You barely had any healing abilities. The best thing you could be compared to would be a regular human. Somehow, I didn’t hate it so much. Probably because I had gotten so used to it. “Hello Miss. Please, this is your lunch.” A woman walked in with a tray of food. Her scent was familiar, and I expected that my wolf had gotten a lot of her scent over the past few days. “Thank you. How long have I been uncons

“Calvin, please listen to me. I had nothing to do with her death.” My voice broke, drained by the shouts of the packs. “Kill her!”“Crucify her!”“She doesn’t deserve to live.”I was dragged, chains biting into my wrists, tearing into my skin. But the pain was nothing compared to the rift in my chest. My eyes were locked onto my mate, but instead of the love I had grown accustomed to, what I saw was sheer disgust.“Calvin please…”“Stop it, Adriana. You are simply irritating to look at.” His dark gaze stared into my soul. “How evil can you be? You killed your own sister because she would be Luna? His voice echoed in the air. It riled up the pack members even more, and I looked down. I didn’t kill her. Tears streamed down my cheeks, but there was no way to prove it. I couldn’t prove it. The knife was in my hands, and Casa’s bleeding body was inches away. Shock never allowed me to speak. When I came to my right mind, it was too late.“Calvin. She lunged herself at me. You have to
