تسجيل الدخولSELVATHIN’S POV
It couldn’t be. There was no way. This has to be some kind of sick joke. I fumed, strolling down the hall.
“Where is Castera?” My voice sounded exactly like a growl, and the growl of an Alpha was not to be trifled with.“My King. She is at her potion palace.” A guard came up to me, and I nodded. I wasn’t going to let my anger get the best of me.
There was no way a Moon witch still existed. I knew this because I was the reason for their massacre.
“Selvathin. Roaring out my name isn’t going to make me come out any faster.” A sing-song voice echoed in the chamber, and I knew exactly who it was.
“This is no time for jokes, Castera. I found my mate.”
“I know.” Castera replied before I could even continue, and it made me frown. The reason a witch like her was allowed so close to me was simple because of the loyalty of her generation.
“My mate is a Moon Witch. I saw the dreaded mark on her. She’s also an omega.” It was also strange. Moon witches were humans. They carried so much power in their bodies that it was impossible for them to host another supernatural entity.
“That's not possible.” Castera said and I scoffed in response.I didn't believe it was possible until I saw her myself. “I know what I saw, Castera. What does this mean?” I moved my fingers through my hair
There had to be an explanation. There just had to be something If a moon witch was alive in this era, it means something more was coming. The last prophecy was related to a war and I ensured there was no way a war would happen, or the moon witches could twist the war into their favor.
“I can't kill her.” I growled.
“I'm not asking you to like before, just follow me.” Castera said, and turned around.
Just then Ramos walked in. He was my beta and the only man I could trust with my life.
“I felt your anger from outside. Did something happen?” He asked and currently, I didn't even bother to answer..
“Just follow me, Ramon. I don't want to talk about it.” My frown deepened.
It didn't take long before we arrived at the potion palace.
“Let me see your wound.” Castera turned to me, standing beside her cauldron.
I grunted in annoyance. I hated showing it. “It's not a wound.”
“The curse has been causing a reaction in your body, just let me see.” She moved forward with a frown, grabbing the hem of my shirt and pulling it up.Castera was the only person who could do this. If it was anyone else, their head would have fallen off at that moment.
“The lines have gone down.” She said, with a solemn voice. I dropped my gaze down. From the middle of my stomach, purple veins had spread through my entire body, giving some parts of my body a red hue.Castera touched it. “The veins have reduced. Did you come in contact with her? It wasn't like this yesterday.”
I turned my gaze away, “We shared a kiss.”“That was fast.” She said and Ramos hid his smile. What a bastard.
“You can't blame me. I haven't had my mate in more than two decades. The mate bond was overwhelming.” I gritted my teeth in response.
They both had mates so they already knew the process. Why did it look weird because I was the one succumbing to the bond?
“That explains this change.” Castera answered and the answer appeared in my head. But I hated to think so.“I have to reject her.” I said.
This time, Ramos was the one who turned to me like I was crazy. “You can't. She is your fated mate. That means you would never have another mate.”
“I can bond with any other person.”“That's risky, Selvathin. Use your head.”
My wolf growled at that response. I have been letting them walk too freely lately.
“I'm sorry.” Ramos must have realised his mistake, so he apologised. “You are the Alpha Lycan. If you bond with just anybody, you would kill them.”
Castera hummed as she turned the bluish mix in her cauldron, like she was oblivious to my current predicament.
“She is an omega! If I mark her, there's a high chance that she will die herself.” I slammed my fist on the table.
My vision blurred. Damn it. This curse was feeding on my emotions again.
“Castera, find something. Anything. If a moon witch is present after all our efforts, we can expect a large-scale war.” I spoke out
She raised her head to me. “Yes, My Lord.” I turned to my right hand man, “Ramos, secure the territory. No one knows about her appearance, so let your eyes be sharp. Any one out of those vile beasts could try to sneak in if the news got out. Ensure the news doesn't get out.” It was a stern command. “As you wish, My Lord.” He responded, and I felt slightly at ease Right now, he was the only one I could count on.Bitterness fled towards my throat and my chest pulsated with pain.
“Selvathin. If it's happening again, you need to go outside. Our men wouldn't be able to fight it.” Ramos’s voice floated into my banging head.
I raised my hand, “I'm fine,” the lie came out of my mouth effortlessly, “I just need to breathe.”
Looking up, I realised that he wasn't relaxed and even Castera was on her guard too.
This was what the curse had turned me into.
A vile, brainless monster that needed to be guarded against.
“Okay. I'd head into the forest in case I transform.” I told them, hoping it would reassure them.
My limbs were aching and I couldn't feel them anymore.
I was actually going to transform if I didn't hurry up.
Was the curse acting up because of her?
My legs moved way before my mind could think. I tried to picture the exit of the palace.
But in the next moment, I realised I was headed into another direction.
“MATE!”
Damn it.
This beast was taking control, and it was heading straight for the one thing it wanted most.
I had to leave this place. It wasn't just Selvathin’s reaction. It was everything. The thick bloodlust that I sensed was coming my way. However, my wolf was excited.“Ahh.” I cried out, clutching my stomach. Carrying a wolf inside of me was another thing. Humans and werewolves were different. A pregnant wolf could get ready for child birth delivery in two weeks after she was confirmed pregnant. It felt like my stomach was being twisted inside out.The pain was like a sharp hot knife in my abdomen.“Adriana. He's coming.” My wolf said, excitement filling her voice. It was like she was leaping inside me, wanting to come out.“Can't you feel it? He's angry.” I groaned out, closing my leg tightly, trying to stop what was happening to me.But it only reduced the pain a little. The door swung open with a loud crash, and there he was..Selvathin, Alpha King of the Lycan, staring at me with blood red eyes.Relief filled me in an instant and I was overpowered by a raging sense of desire. But n

“What has happened is in the past,” He said, after listening to my story. “Do you want to keep the child?”“Yes!” I said, without hesitation. “My name is Sevalthin.” He said, turning to the door, “And get rid of those thoughts. There’s no way you can escape me.” It was the last thing he said, before leaving through the door. I bit down on my lips. He had seen through me perfectly, and after looking around, there was no way I could escape. The sole of my feet weren’t healed yet, and my bones still ached me. It was the down side of being an omega, and someone with a late wolf. You barely had any healing abilities. The best thing you could be compared to would be a regular human. Somehow, I didn’t hate it so much. Probably because I had gotten so used to it. “Hello Miss. Please, this is your lunch.” A woman walked in with a tray of food. Her scent was familiar, and I expected that my wolf had gotten a lot of her scent over the past few days. “Thank you. How long have I been uncons
By dawn, I was taken away, walking to my doom. My eyes were swollen because I drowned in my tears overnight. Damn it, Casa! Why did you have to punish me this way?Memories filled my head. It was after I told her my pregnancy. I never knew she loved Calvin, but to accuse me of stealing him? It was something else.I never asked to be Luna. In fact, I wanted death, but Calvin had come in and showed me love that I thought of giving life a chance. “I hope you are cozy in there. The Lycan Kingdom would soon come into view.” The guards said, interrupting my thoughts. My legs hurt, and the skin of my soles had peeled off. “Please can we rest?” My voice came out croaked, and I realised how parched my throat was. “There is no rest for a killer.” The man snarled at me, and I lowered my gaze. Every part of me ached, and burned.Blood was left in my footprints and every step burned. I was too weak to cry, and even if I was strong, I don’t think there were any tears left. My heart ached. I wa
“Calvin, please listen to me. I had nothing to do with her death.” My voice broke, drained by the shouts of the packs. “Kill her!”“Crucify her!”“She doesn’t deserve to live.”I was dragged, chains biting into my wrists, tearing into my skin. But the pain was nothing compared to the rift in my chest. My eyes were locked onto my mate, but instead of the love I had grown accustomed to, what I saw was sheer disgust.“Calvin please…”“Stop it, Adriana. You are simply irritating to look at.” His dark gaze stared into my soul. “How evil can you be? You killed your own sister because she would be Luna? His voice echoed in the air. It riled up the pack members even more, and I looked down. I didn’t kill her. Tears streamed down my cheeks, but there was no way to prove it. I couldn’t prove it. The knife was in my hands, and Casa’s bleeding body was inches away. Shock never allowed me to speak. When I came to my right mind, it was too late.“Calvin. She lunged herself at me. You have to
