CHAPTER 19

ATLAS POV

He looked at me as if he wanted to kiss me so badly. I feel so damn awkward right now considering that we have been alone and we obviously have mutual feelings for each other.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked in wonder. I looked away, dodging his eyes.

"What is wrong with that?" he asked as if he did not feel that the atmosphere was getting a little bit awkward.

"Stop looking at me, I don't feel comfortable with that."

"And what if I looked at you this way? Come on, I don't feel anything awkward at all. But seriously speaking, I still feel weak at the moment. If you don't mind, I'll just go and find us something to eat and some herbal medicine in the forest. I need to cure my wounds."

"I volunteered myself," I said without hesitation. "But if I need to do something more than that, please do not hesitate to say this to me. I need to return the favor."

He nodded in disagreement, "No! After what happened earlier, there is no way I'm gonna allow you to do
