CHAPTER 44

MATTHEW POV

Today, I wanted to ride on my damn horse to breathe some fresh air and stay away from the mansion since it's my fucking dad's birthday and as I expected, Cindy and her freaking family are going to attend it as well. And so many unnecessary invites that are not even close to my family. They are a bunch of morons in my eyes and I seriously hate having to see any of them- particularly that snake friend of Rhea.

As I roamed my eyes around the area, that man with a crooked face popped up in my mind again. It was as if I felt being followed by him. I shoved away the negative thoughts running through my mind and focused my attention on what I was doing.

I have come to realize that the more I roamed in the forest, the more I missed Rhea. If only I were not a part of this family, I would surely marry her and have kids on my own already. But things did not go as planned and marrying my childhood friend who made my life so fun and exciting was impossible.

I am bound to marry Cindy
