MATTHEW POV

"Uncle! Happy birthday to you," Cindy said.

"Thank you so much for coming Cindy," my father replied, sipping wine thereafter.

"Dad..."

I could not continue speaking as I feel so nervous right now.

"Uncle, can I take your son to the forest? I have heard that he stays there most of the time."

"I don't want to go there," I declined.

My father looked at me with a serious face. "Go ahead and come with her in that forest. I wanted to see both of you hanging around. As a matter of fact, I would like you to be as close as possible before your marriage so you can have a great foundation."

I feel so disgusted right now. I can't even last a minute being with Cindy. How much more if we are going to spend more than that together? It makes me wanna puke.

"Dad... my foot was injured because I slid earlier. I don't want to go there right now."

"For god's sake! Can't you just refrain from making excuses already? I want you to accompany her in that forest. You are going to be married an
