Roseline wanted to believe she didn't hear the King correctly because it couldn't be true. Like...no way.
She'd be staying in his room??? Whaat???
"I'll get the maids to bring your things over in a short time" he further said, making her confirm his words.
"That way, I'm sure no harm would come to you".
Roseline's jaws dropped.
"B.. But, is that really neccesary?" She asked.
She couldn't believe she'd be sharing the room with the King! Like... sleeping in the King's chambers!! What if his brides gets upset??
"Of course, it's neccesary, Roseline - for both of us. And at least, it's only going to be for the meantime until Aiken's back with the solution", he said and she forced herself to nod.
It's only going to be for the meantime, Roseline - she thought. Just a day or two and everything will be back to normal.
