Chapter 6

In the carriage...

Roseline sat next to the princess, while the others followed behind on horses - including Sally.

That was the second time Roseline was making use of a carriage in her whole life, but she felt bad it had to be under such circumstances.

"You didn't have to threaten nanny Hapitha" she suddenly turned to the princess and said. "Better still, I think you should've given her son back to her as soon as she submitted me"

Martha looked at her and said nothing, and a few seconds passed. 

"Saving my brother's life is as important as the world to me" she spoke calmly as she stared through the curtains. 

"I needed everyone to cooperate, even if it involved using force". 

"And threatening someone's life?" Roseline scoffed and the princess hesitated. 

"I've never killed, and would never kill" she said. "Even if your nanny had
