THE LOST LUNA OF SILVERWOODS

Isabella run as fast as she could, while keep on looking back, afraid that those men who kidnapped her for almost three years would appear behind her and start chasing her, that cause her to stumble on the pavement as if her feet were weighted by rocks.

"No... I-I need to stop their wedding, and tell Mateo all about what happened to me," she said, as she feel the aching bruises of her knees. Her eyes turned blurry because of the tears that's now running down her cheeks, but she wiped it immediately and stood up from the ground.

"You need to be strong, Isabella. M-Mateo still needs to know the truth. M-My daughter? For sure she's waiting for me," she whispered and started walking through the church, despite the pain in her knees.

A simple smile form on her lips when she reached the front of the church. She's now chasing her breath while holding a pillar on her side, like it can give her more strength, but then it's already too late.

"I know pronounce you, husband and wife," she heard the priest' voice, the same time she feels her body weakened more.

"N-No..."

"No!" she shouted that made everyone in the church turn their head towards her direction. Shocked expression were written all over their face, all of them almost know that Isabella already found someone else, that she cheated on Mateo and decided to live on abroad three years had past.

Nerissa suddenly feel nervous, she swallowed hard. She keep on cursing those men she paid to ensure that Isabella will be literally buried, she's too surprised now to see her here.

"Isabella?" Nerissa could see the undeniable shocked on Mateo's eyes. Her eyes pierce at Isabella who's still at the entrance door of the church while crying. She doesn't want Isabella to be there, she can't let her ruin this special day for her since she waited for this moment for too long. Despite the fact that they are already officially married, she still want to assure that Isabella's returned will not cause any damage on their wedding.

"What she's doing here? I thought she cheated on Mateo?"

"I don't get it, why she suddenly appeared here?!" Isabella can see the judgemental looked of other guests, she doesn't understand them. She's been treating everyone around her even back then, that's why she can't believe the kind of looks everyone is giving her right now. Meanwhile, Nerissa's eyes widened when Mateo walked down the aisle.

"Mateo? Wait! Don't go near her," she called his name, but Mateo continuously walked towards Isabella, so she have no choice but to follow him. But she stopped on her track for a while when Amara, Mateo and Isabella's child came out from somewhere behind the altar and stand next to her.

"Mom, who is she?" Amara asked innocently. It's not surprising that she can remember Isabella as her true mother, since she's just one year old, so Nerissa can just easily make her believe the lies she's telling the child.

"Ah, nothing! She's just a random crazy woman, baby. So, just stay here, okay?" Nerissa didn't waste anytime to pull a fake smile, then she hurriedly followed Mateo to where he and Isabella are standing. They're close enough.

Isabella can't help but to smile, while the tears are still evidence in her eyes as she watched Mateo walking towards her, when he finally reach her side, she immediately run through him and give him a tight hugged. She missed him so much. Mateo and her child's the only one who became het hope to get and run away from those who kidnapped and made her suffer, but she didn't expect Mateo to pushed her away.

"M-Mateo?" she stuttered. His eyes stare intently at her, and she couldn't understand the anger she's seeing in his eyes.

"W-Why did you pushed me? Aren't you happy to s-see me?" she tried to smile sweetly at him, but he's too angry to look at her.

"Why did you even come back, Isabella?! How dare you showed up your face here after you cheated on me?!" Her eyes landed on the gripped of Mateo's hand on her right arm.

"W-What?" She can't believe what he's saying to her, and she wants to ask if it's a joke, but Mateo's eyes are deadly serious, making her heart skip a beat.

"Don't you there pretend like you didn't know what I am talking about Isabella. Three years ago, you told me that Roman is just the fucking driver you hired,, but that month, someone knock from our house door and I saw a box, and inside I saw the unforgivable scene you did! You fucking slept with that man, and you didn't even care to come back home and explain, because you just left me and your child with your selfishness!" He screamed angrily, while Isabella's body is paralyzed and she stared at him with her mouth opened.

"No... T-That's not true, Mateo. I can explain, I can tell y-you the truth!" She tried to move closer to him, but Nerissa already enter her field of vision and pushed her, which she didn't expect for her to do that.

"N-Nerissa?"

"Isabella, you are gone for years? Why did you still come back? I mean... we've already move on, especially Mateo, after you cheated on him." Isabella shook her head repeatedly, she can't accept that even Nerissa seems to believe that lie she didn't know where they find.

"Nerissa, you know that I am not that kind of woman. Besides, we are family, w-why did you need to marry the man I love? H-He's still mine. We are still married." Nerissa looked at Mateo.

"Hun, I'll take care of this. Just please, give our great apologies to all our guest." Mateo nodded.

"No, Mateo! Please, we need to talk. Where's my child? I also need to see her!" When Nerissa already see that Mateo is already left them, she finally went forward to Isabella.

"Get out of here, Isabella. Don't ruin everything that I already fixed. I clean all your mess, and now that they're fine with me, we doesn't need you anymore." She shoved Isabella away with force, making her stumble on the ground.

"Nerissa, please! I need to explain, I got kidnapped. They deserve to know the truth!" Nerissa just smirked and rolled her eyes.

"Guards, just make sure that this woman won't get close to us again." Isabella couldn't know the reason why after all the kindness she gave to Nerissa she's now treating her like a trash.

"Ma'am, sorry, but you need to leave," the bodyguards grabbed her arms and pushed her on the opposite side of the church. She cried hard, and brushed her palms on her face. It's the day she's waiting for, to finally be free from those who kidnapped her and be with her family, but she didn't know that there's already someone who's occupying the space that's originally meant for her.

"No... I won't give up. I am still the real wife."
