Molly:

“Get dressed. We are leaving in a minute,” Farrell instructed me. He then yanked a section of the sheet off and wrapped it around his waist.

I was still on the bed, my head down. I lifted my head a bit to face him.

“What should I wear?” I asked, staring at him.

I had never stayed at this hotel before, and I had no clothes with me.

“Your bag is in the wardrobe,” he said without looking at me, then walked out.

I scoffed and got out of bed. Then I dashed into the bathroom for a quick shower.

The chilled water droplets on my shoulders helped to calm my nerves. I had a lot on my mind, but I knew he would never give me the answers I needed. I would have to figure it. But for the time being, all I wanted to do was go home and rest. All I could hope for today was that there would be no drama.

I was looking forward to a day free of activities. I just wanted to lie down and read my books while getting kisses from Farrell.

I did not want anyone to be killed.
