“Do I need to check if she is done?” Max inquired, and before he could say another word, Olivia stepped out of the building. She was wearing that same red dress she bought at the mall the other day.

For a minute, he doubted if it was the same Olivia living with him. He cleared his throat, jerking Max to reality while Olivia walked slowly towards the car.

Olivia entered the black Range Rover and waited for Aiden to say a word, but he didn't and as usual, she didn't get her hopes up high.

She turned to face the window while Max began to drive out of the compound, and so did the rest of his men.
