REBORN AS IMMORTALITY

“Am sorry!” he clears his throat and pulls away too. “You were about to remove the spider right?” He asked.

“Yes of course" She flashed out a short awkward smile. They knew they missed a rare coming opportunity, yet they pretended they never cared and avoided each other’s gaze.

He thought of something to say to break the awkward silence that lingered.

“Let’s not sit here, we did not get our asses stuck in the car for twelve minutes just to sit. Let’s explore the woods” He suggests.

Without hesitation, they set out into the wood.

“How often do you come here?” she asked as they walked.

“It is my second time of coming here. The first time was to dispose the corpses of the people I murdered” He simply answered with an intention of creating a shuddering atmosphere that would scare her.

She looks around frantically before finally grasping his intention of scaring her.

“So you don’t know these woods very well, I take it?” She asked again with her brows raised questioningly.
