The alarm rings continuously, almost dangling out from the end of the table. She reaches out from under her blanket and pushed the snooze button. She hurriedly prepares dinner and served. As there was not much to do, she picked her stuffs together, and paced while waiting for the rain to subside. Although there were luxurious rooms available for her to stay for the night, but she didn’t want to spend the night at the mansion for any reason whatsoever. She glanced at her watch and saw that it was six o'clock pm. A long weary sigh escaped her lips as she stands, gawking outside the window in eagerness. The shattered glasses lay on the floor beside the overturned stool, while they just stood, gawking at everything to divert their minds from the thoughts of the previous incident. While on the rooftops of skyscrapers guarding the world, he thought of the event that transpired between them. Just when he had planned to make the night a perfect one for both of them, he screwed it. Inasmuch as he wanted to criticize himself, he saw reasons for leaving at that point in time. It was his duty after all as the vigilante of earth to attend to all those screams and roars ringing in his ears every passing moment. But he blamed himself for the approach he used, he ruined his happiness as well as hers. He was dumb after all, like she said. Few minutes after he has calmed the roars, he came back hoping to find her still awake and perhaps make up for his messy attitude.
