CHAPTER SIXTEEN

"Hey, what happened?" Luke said as he was moving closer to her.

"Oh it's you" She heaved a breath of relief

"Yes. I tried calling you, you didn't pick the phone. I was getting worried so I checked your location and found out you were here so I decided to come and make sure you were not in danger. I already called a few back ups, what happened?"

"I'm feeling cold, i will tell you all about it later" she said as he took off his coat and placed it around her as he helped her to the car.

As Luke drove her home, her mind raced with questions. Who was the man that had been killed? And what did it have to do with the senator's murder? Why was the wolf there all of a sudden?

Sophia knew she had to find answers. She had to do all it takes and investigate deeply and of course, this was her job.

Her phone rang, it was Edward calling. She was not in the mood to talk to anyone so she ended the call.
