After five days, Kael had successfully gathered all the information about the rogue attack on the borders. He discovered that the rogue had been sent by Xander, the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack, under orders from Beta Aldric.

After gathering all this information, Kael decided not to tell his father everything. Even if he did, his father wouldn’t believe him.

While Kael was still figuring out how to tell his father, a maid knocked on the door of the study where he was.

“Who’s there?” Kael asked, wondering who would disturb him after he’d clearly said he didn’t want to be disturbed.

“It’s a maid, Alpha,” the maid announced.

“What?” he asked flatly.

“Your father summons you,” the maid said.

“Okay,” Kael acknowledged, and the maid who was standing on the other side of the door left.

Kael wondered why his father would send a maid to summon him when he could have simply used a mindlink.

He stood up from his chair and left the study for his father’s quarters. Once Kael arrived there, he knocked on the door.

“Who is there?” Beta Aldric asked.

“It’s Kael,” Kael replied. Beta Aldric confirmed through the keyhole before opening the door.

“Good morning, Beta Aldric,” Kael greeted politely despite his position as an Alpha.

“Good morning, Kael,” Aldric responded in a not-so-polite way, not even acknowledging Kael with his title.

“What brings you here?” Beta Aldric asked, raising his brows.

“I came here to see my father,” Kael answered respectfully and stepped in once Aldric moved aside.

When Kael got inside, he went straight to his father’s room.

“Good morning, Father,” he greeted as soon as he saw him.

“Good morning, my son,” Magnus replied with a warm smile.

“Father, a maid told me that I was being summoned by you,” Kael said.

“Yes, my son, I sent the maid to summon you,” Magnus confirmed. “Did you find anything about the rogues that attacked the borders that day?” he asked, curiosity lacing his tone.

“Yes, Father, I did. The rogues were actually sent from the Blood Moon Pack, so I was wondering whether I should ask the Blood Moon Alpha if he sent any rogues to our pack,” Kael said, telling a selective truth.

“I don’t think it’s necessary to contact the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack since you’re already sure,” Magnus suggested.

“Since you’ve been busy for almost a week, I’ll give you a break, but you’ll have to do one last thing for me. You’re going on a date with Cassidy,” Magnus said.

Kael instantly got upset, though he didn’t show it and stayed calm.

“Father, I’m not ready for this relationship thing right now. I just want to focus on building the pack to its peak,” Kael said, though he knew his father wouldn’t take no for an answer.

“Kael, someday you’ll realize I’m doing you a favor. As an Alpha, you need a Luna by your side to support you,” Magnus said.

“Father, I’m not ready for a relationship now,” Kael insisted.

“This is a must, my son, and you must go on the date,” Magnus commanded.

“Okay, Father,” Kael said and was about to leave when Magnus spoke again.

“Kael, also tell your brothers that I’ve given them a break, but they must go on the date with Cassidy. Tell them it’s by force, not by choice,” Magnus said.

“Okay,” Kael replied and left the room.

Once Kael was out of the room, his face turned gloomy, and Aldric wondered what Magnus might have said to upset him so much. When Kael realized that Beta Aldric was staring at him for too long, he quickly masked his emotions.

“Bye, Beta Aldric,” Kael said and left without waiting for a response.

Once Kael left the quarters, he went to the training grounds where his brothers were training the pack warriors.

After a while, Kael arrived and saw that they were indeed training like pack warriors should. Their swordsmanship had gotten faster and sharper, and Kael could tell his brothers had been working hard.

After observing them for a while, the pack warriors noticed his presence.

“Good morning, Alpha,” they greeted and bowed.

Damien and Lucian turned to see who it was, and indeed it was Kael.

“Good morning,” Kael replied and approached his brothers.

“Good morning, brothers,” Kael greeted.

“Good morning, Kael,” Damien and Lucian replied almost in unison.

“I have something Father asked me to tell you both,” Kael said and walked toward a secluded corner. Damien and Lucian followed him.

“Father said he’s giving you both a break. And secondly, he said you must go on a date with Cassidy,” Kael reported, and his brothers weren’t happy about it.

“Okay, when will the date take place?” Damien asked.

“It’s today, but I’m not sure what time. Let me mindlink Father and ask him,” Kael said and immediately opened a mindlink with Magnus.

‘Father, when are we supposed to go for the date?’ Kael asked through the link.

‘Today, at 10:00 a.m.,’ Magnus replied.

‘Okay,’ Kael noted and ended the link.

“Father said it’s at 10:00 a.m., which is in a few minutes since it’s almost ten,” Kael announced and left to prepare for the date. Damien and Lucian followed behind.

Once they reached their room, they went straight to the walk-in closet to change into something better since they had already bathed earlier. Damien and Lucian had done some light training, but not enough to make them sweaty.

They all dressed in turtlenecks and coats paired with trousers, though the colors varied. Damien wore all white, Kael’s was grey and black, and Lucian’s was white and black. They finished the look with black boots.

When they were done, they picked up their wallets and phones, slipped them into their pockets, and Kael grabbed the keys to the BMW M8 since he was driving.

Before leaving, they locked the door that led outside the quarters. Once out, Damien locked it again, and then they headed to Cassidy’s quarters.

When they reached Cassidy’s quarters, they knocked, and her voice called out from the other side.

“Who is there?” she asked.

“It’s the Alphas,” Kael replied, and Cassidy quickly opened the door.

“Good morning, Alphas,” she greeted. She wore a pink dress with a slit up the side. The dress stopped at her knees and hugged her curves perfectly.

“Good morning,” they replied at the same time.

“You may come in,” Cassidy offered, stepping aside.

“Don’t worry, we just came to pick you up for the date,” Kael said.

“Okay, give me a second to grab my purse,” Cassidy said and went to get it from the bed.

Within seconds, she returned with her purse in hand, and they all headed to the garage.

The garage was filled with various sports cars. Kael walked straight to the BMW M8, and the others followed. He sat in the driver’s seat, Damien took the passenger seat, and Lucian sat at the back with Cassidy.

Kael started the engine and let it hum for a few seconds before driving out of the garage toward the most luxurious restaurant in the pack.

"What?! Are you serious?" Emily said, her eyes widening in shock."Yes, I am. And why would I joke about something like that?" Cassidy responded."I hope you rejected him," Emily said, raising her brows."No, I didn’t. I was so shocked to even process anything," Cassidy replied."Did you go back to look for him after you processed everything?" Emily asked."Yes, I did, but he was already gone when I came back to check for him," Cassidy answered."Does anyone else know, or is it just me?" Emily asked another question."Only you know about this," Cassidy replied."Damn," Emily breathed, still stunned by all of this."I don't know what to do. I'm so confused," Cassidy said."I think you should tell your father since you're confused. He could help you reach out to him as far as you can still remember his looks," Emily advised."Thanks for the idea. I didn't even think of that," Cassidy appreciated."You're welcome," Emily acknowledged. "Do you still remember what he looks like?" she asked

Once everyone was out, he locked it and led the way toward the entrance.Inside, a waiter greeted them warmly. “Good morning, Alphas. • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   New job

I hated hangovers; they were the worst. Well, that served me right for drinking too much. I woke up late, and luckily it was Sunday and not a workday. My hair was a complete mess, and I smelled like alcohol. I knew I had to take a shower immediately.I got out of bed, took off the clothes I wore to the party, and tossed them into the laundry basket in my room. Then I went into the bathroom and took my time in the shower before finally stepping out after what felt like hours. When I was done, I went to the closet and picked out something simple to wear ; a black baggy shirt paired with blue baggy trousers. I removed the towel wrapped around my body and hair, hung it on the towel rail, then applied some body cream before putting on the clothes I’d chosen earlier, along with blue slippers. After finishing up, I dried my hair and applied some cream to it before leaving my room to prepare breakfast. But as soon as I reached the kitchen, the sweet smell of pancakes hit me, and there was Bla

Kael still couldn’t believe he had seen his mate, and that he had even kissed her. The moment kept replaying in his mind. The anger that surged through him when he saw her grinding against another man still burned in his chest. He had wanted to rip the man apart, to tear him limb from limb, but he held himself back. He couldn’t risk scaring her. He’d seen the pain in her eyes when he walked away. He wished he could have stayed longer, just a little more time to hold her, but he couldn’t. He had to return to the pack before anyone grew suspicious. The last thing he needed was to draw attention to himself, not when things were already tense. When Kael got back from seeing his mate, he ended up killing a few rogues who had tried to attack the pack borders, leaving their lifeless bodies behind. He made a mental note to tell his father about it later in the day.The moment Kael realized he smelled like his mate, he quickly masked her scent. He couldn’t afford anyone picking up on it.Now t

  • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   A kiss

“I… will do it,” I agreed nervously and went over to Blake’s side, sitting on his lap. I wasn’t even wearing any panties, so I was sure he could feel it. I hadn’t even started rocking him yet, and he was already hard, his dick poking against my thighs. After a minute of sitting still, I began moving slowly, rocking him, and he kept getting harder through his pants. When I was done, I stood up, leaving him painfully hard. His face was red, veins popped along his neck, and his jaw was clenched tight. “Way to go, Becky, you left him hard,” Abby said with a smirk curling on her lips. I so badly wanted to wipe it off. This game was getting too intense, and I had to ask if we could end it or play something else because I didn’t want to be asked anything so bold again. “Could we play another game?” I asked. “No way, Becky. We’ll only stop when we’re drunk or tipsy,” Lily announced, and I knew I had to brace myself and hope it didn’t point at me again. A few minutes passed, and luckily, i
