The kitchen was one of my safe places, where I could lose myself and forget about my suffering. But today it felt like a dungeon, filled with excessive tasks. While I was preparing the food needed for the ceremony, I could hear the sound of boots echoing through the pack house and getting louder with each step. As the steps grew closer, I could smell pine, iron and dominance in the air and it overpowered the scent of garlic and fresh bread, I was preparing.

Out of curiousity, I peeked and froze when I saw, Damien, Kael and Lucian, and my heart began to race. I pressed my back against the cold kitchen wall, trying to steady my breathing and also prevent myself from being seen.

A loud horn sounded outside, signaling the start of the crowning ceremony. I wasn’t usually meant to attend the ceremony, but only to serve those who attend.

Mrs Parker, the kitchen mistress, burst through the door, and her eyes were scanning the room. “Rebecca, get the trays ready for the feast.” Her voice was sharp, and filled with arrogance, and her blonde hair cascaded her back.

“Yes, ma’am,” I replied meekly, keeping my eyes down.

The horn sounded again, and I knew the ceremony had started. I tried to focus on preparing the dough for bread. But my mind kept wandering to the triplets, and how they would react if they see me again.

Mrs Parker’s voice snapped me back into reality. “Rebecca, the trays. Take them to the hall. The feast starts right after the crowning.” She instructed and strode out without waiting for an answer. I nodded, grabbing the heavy trays of bread and roasted meat.

The hallway to the grand hall was crowded with pack members, their voices were filled with excitement. They glittered in elegant clothes and polished jewelry, which was a contrast to my worn-out garments. I kept my head down, passing through them, hoping no one would notice me.

The grand hall was a sight to behold. The tables were loaded with food, candles casting light over the pack’s best furs and silks. At the front, on a raised platform, Alpha Magnus stood, his broad physique strong even in his older years, his silver hair shining under the torchlight. Beside him were the triplets, and seeing them made me feel giddy.

Damien stood in the center, his broad shoulders fitting into his ceremonial armor, his gray eyes scanning the crowd with a quiet demeanor that made my skin tingle. Kael was to his left, his dark hair tied back, his face calm but his eyes sharp, like he was studying everything. Lucian, on the right, flashed a grin at the crowd.

The crowd went quiet as the Elders stepped forward, chanting the final words of the ceremony. Magnus raised his hands, his deep voice filling the hall. “By the will of the pack and the strength of our blood, I name my sons, Damien, Kael, and Lucian, Alphas of the Silvermoon Pack. May they lead with wisdom, strength, and honor.”

The crowd burst into cheers, and howls echoing through the hall. I set the trays on a side table, my hands shaking, and tried to slip back toward the door. I didn’t belong here, not among the celebration, and not near the Alphas. But as I turned, something stopped me, it was a sharp, electric jolt in my chest. My wolf surged, her energy wild and unstoppable, and for a moment, my vision sharpened, the colors brighter, the smells overwhelming.

I froze, my breath catching. Then I felt it, a pull, a connection, like a spark lighting up inside me. My eyes lifted, almost against my own will, and locked onto the platform. Damien was staring at me, his gray eyes staring at the crowd, steady and intense. Kael’s head tilted, his dark gaze narrowing like he felt it too. Lucian’s grin faded, his eyes finding mine, a flicker of surprise crossing his face.

I felt the mate bond and it was impossible, but it was there, and a real burning connection between us. My wolf howled, loving it, but my mind panicked. Alphas didn’t bond with Omegas. They chose strong mates, warriors or nobles, not someone like me, that was bruised and broken. But the bond was real, tying me to all three of them.

The crowd was still cheering, unaware of the storm inside me, but Magnus’ eyes narrowed, his gaze moving from his sons to me. The bond was pulsing now, impossible to ignore, and I saw Damien step forward, his jaw tight, his eyes still on me. Kael moved with him, his body tense. Lucian’s smile was gone, replaced by a look of curiosity.

“Rebecca,” Mrs. Parker hissed behind me, her voice low and urgent. “What are you doing? Get out of here.”

I wanted to run, but my feet wouldn’t move. The bond was too strong, pulling me toward them, and my wolf was fighting me, desperate to answer it. The crowd started to quiet, sensing something was wrong, their eyes darting between me and the platform.

Magnus' voice cut through the noise, sharp and commanding. “What is this?” he demanded, looking at his sons. “Explain.”

Damien’s voice was calm but firm, like he was holding back a storm. “We feel it,” he said, his eyes still on me. “The mate bond.”

The hall went silent, the air was heavy with shock. My face burned, and I wanted to disappear. I couldn't still believe an Omega, like me was fated to not just one Alpha, but three. It was unthinkable, and a scandal that could ruin everything. Magnus' face darkened, his hands clenching. “Impossible,” he growled. “She’s an Omega. A nobody.”

Kael spoke next, his voice quieter but just as steady. “The bond doesn’t lie, Father. You know that.”

Lucian stepped forward, his eyes on me, a small smirk playing on his lips despite the tension. “Looks like the Moon Goddess has a funny way of picking mates.”

The crowd gasped, some were angry while some curious. I could feel Cassidy’s glare from across the room, and it was filled with pure hatred. My wolf was howling, urging me to step forward, to claim what was ours, but I couldn’t. I was shaking, my hands gripping the table, my mind screaming that this was a mistake.

Magnus' eyes locked on me, making me feel small, worthless. “You,” he said, his voice low and dangerous. “Step forward.”

My legs moved before I could stop them, the bond pulling me closer to the platform. I walked to the center of the hall, the crowd parting and their whispers echoing through the grand hall. I stopped a few feet from the platform, my head hung down and my heart racing. I could feel the triplets’ eyes on me, their presence overwhelming, and the bond snapped.

“Look at me, Rebecca” Damien said, his voice softer but still strong. My name sounded so amazing coming from him, and I loved the way it made my skin tingle and heart race. I lifted my eyes, meeting his gray gaze, and the bond ignited in my chest, taking my breath away. Kael’s dark eyes were on me too, and studying my figure, while Lucian’s held a mix of curiosity and something warm, that made my heart race.

Magnus stepped forward, towering over me. “This is a mistake,” he said, his voice cold. “You are an Omega, and you can’t be their mate.”

The words hurt, but the bond kept me standing, my wolf refusing to back down. For the first time, I felt her strength, and I held onto it. “I didn’t choose this,” I said, my voice shaky but clear. “But it’s real, and I feel it.”

The hall was silent, my words hanging in the air. Damien’s eyes softened for a moment, and Kael’s lips twitched, like he was impressed. Lucian chuckled softly, breaking the tension. “She’s got spirit, and i like that, ” he said, glancing at his brothers.

Magnus' face was a storm, but before he could speak, Damien stepped down from the platform, moving closer to me. The crowd gasped, but he ignored them, his eyes locked on mine. "Don't worry we will protect you from now on", he said his voice low just for me to hear.

The bond glowed in my chest, and for the first time, I didn’t feel invisible. I didn’t know what this meant or what would happen next, but as I stood there, in front of the pack, in front of their father, with the triplets’ eyes on me, something changed.

  • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   A clue

Kael woke up at midnight when everyone was asleep, including his brothers, so he could execute his plan.He moved slowly and quietly out of the room, making sure not a single sound came from his steps.Kael approached Beta Aldric's office, careful not to be seen or heard. When he reached Aldric’s study, he checked through the keyhole to see if anyone was still there. Luckily, he did, because Beta Aldric was still inside.Kael was about to leave when he heard something that made him freeze.“So what you’re saying is that Damien contacted you about their mate?” Beta Aldric said to someone on the line.Kael stayed rooted to the spot, waiting to hear more.“Has Kael contacted you recently?” Aldric asked.“Wow, that means only Damien and Lucian have reached out to you,” Aldric confirmed.“Anyway, my daughter will be yours when she’s done playing her part in making me the Alpha,” Aldric assured.“Don’t forget to keep training your pack warriors consistently,” Aldric added, and that made Kae

  • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   The Alphas are summoned

“What does he mean by he saved us?” Damien muttered, his brows drawn together in confusion.“Well, I have no idea. All I know is that he’s bipolar,” Lucian replied, a smirk tugging at his lips.“Why does he always have to act so strange?” Damien asked, stroking his chin thoughtfully.“He’s always been strange, but now it’s more obvious,” Lucian said with a shrug.“Yeah, he definitely acts strange.” Damien added with a sigh.“Ugh, this place is so boring. I preferred when we were in New York City,” Lucian complained.“Shh,” Damien hissed, placing a finger against his lips. “That’s supposed to be a secret.”“It’s not like anyone would know,” Lucian muttered, rolling his eyes.“You should be cautious. Carelessness may lead to your fall,” Damien warned.“Whatever…” Lucian scoffed, rolling his eyes again.“I’m serious,” Damien muttered firmly.“You’re always serious,” Lucian teased.“I’m not.”“Yes, you are,” Lucian said, laughing at Damien’s sternness. They didn’t notice Kael step into th

  • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   Plan gone wrong

“How could he do this to us?” Damien asked, his voice thick with anger. “He betrayed us, and he’s completely lost my trust.”“Well, when he reported us and acted like it was nothing, whatever hope I had left in him went down the drain,” Lucian said sincerely.“Same here,” Damien added.“Do you still think he’s up to something, some plan or reason behind all this?” Lucian asked, raising his brows, his tone dripping with sarcasm.“Oh yeah, I still think he’s up to something, but he’s lost my trust,” Damien replied firmly.“To me, he doesn’t look like he’s planning anything, just a betrayer and a backstabber,” Lucian thought to himself.‘My gut tells me Kael’s up to something. I’m sure he’s doing this to find our mate. But because he betrayed us, my trust in him is gone. I pity Lucian, it’s unfortunate he’s still naïve and not as wise as Kael,’ Damien thought, though he didn’t say it aloud. Instead, he stared blankly, lost in his thoughts.“What are you thinking about?” Lucian asked, sna

  • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   Kael's changed

“He betrayed us. How could he?” Damien complained to Lucian.“Well… with the way he’s been acting lately, I’m not surprised. His mood swings and all, one second he’s angry, the next he’s sorry, then he’s supportive, and now he’s in denial. He’s really not trustworthy, or even worth our trust,” Lucian poured out, frustration lacing every word.“Yeah, maybe. Still, I have a feeling he has his reasons,” Damien said, stroking his chin.“Reasons, sure,” Lucian muttered, sarcasm dripping from his tone.“I really think he does. Didn’t you realize that when we left the room, he was in a normal mood, but when he came to the study, he changed? I feel like something triggered him, but I’m confused. Whenever he says anything, it sounds so true that you don’t know when to believe him and when not to.” Damien shook his head.“I don’t trust Kael, and I don’t think I ever will. Well, maybe if he stopped with this split-personality act, I could consider forgiving him,” Lucian said flatly.“You know, w

  • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   Cassidy reports

Cassidy was pleased with what Kael had said, but Lucian and Damien’s words left her deeply unsettled. A cunning, deceitful idea flashed through her mind, which was to report them. But first, she needed to keep spying on the Alphas. ‘I wonder who I should spy on first. Since Damien and Lucian are still together, maybe I should start with Kael. But first, I think I’ll take Emily with me.’ Cassidy reasoned this as she went to look for Emily. ‘Now where the heck am I going to find her? I think I should check my room where I left her. Maybe she’ll still be there.’ “Good morning, ma’am,” a group of maids greeted, but Cassidy didn’t respond. Her mind was elsewhere. When she reached her room, she found Emily laughing on the phone with someone Cassidy didn’t recognize. Cassidy narrowed her eyes, watching longer than usual. Judging by Emily’s tone, her words, and the way she twirled her hair, it seemed she was speaking to a man. After what felt like hours, the call ended. “Who was that,

  • THE OMEGA'S HEAT   The Search

"I'm… sorry for the way I acted earlier," Kael said, his voice low. The words came out stiff and awkward, because an apology was something he hardly ever gave.Damien blinked, staring at his brother with genuine surprise in his eyes. "I forgive you," he said almost immediately, the words coming out without hesitation."Why did you have to attack him?" Lucian asked suddenly, his gaze locking onto Kael’s."I lost control," Kael admitted, disappointed by what he did."But he wasn’t the reason you lost control. You could have left him out of it!" Lucian snapped, his tone harsh and his eyes never leaving Kael’s."I know," Kael replied, calmer this time."There’s no need for this quarrel," Damien interjected, his voice firm but soothing. "He lost control, and I understand that.""That doesn’t make it right for him to attack you," Lucian shot back, glaring daggers at Kael."I’m sorry," Kael said again, more times than he ever had before. It was unlike him, and they all knew it.Damien leaned
