LOGINThe sound of voices echoed through the hallway, and I recognized the Alpha's sons’ voices. Their voices were similar, with a deepness that stirred something strange in my stomach and heat between my legs.
I slipped quietly to the hallway where the Alpha's sons were so I could catch a glimpse of them. I hid behind one of the hallway's statues and peeked. I spotted Beta Aldric, Cassidy with her minions, and the Alpha's sons. The Alpha's sons looked as handsome as I remembered and even more powerful, over the years. Damien was clad in a grey suit, which complemented his features, especially his steel grey mesmerizing eyes that made me lose myself in them.Kael wasn't dressed as formally as Damien, instead he wore a black turtleneck and trousers, with a grey coat. Lucian dressed more casually, compared to the others. He was clad in a grey shirt and black jeans, and his eyes were scanning the hallway.
As I was taking in the amazing sight of the Alpha's sons, Lucian eyes that were searching landed on me. He stared at me for a moment, then winked at me. His action made my heart begin hammering and my legs turned to jelly. Out of fear of being punished, I accidentally knocked over the statue shielding me, and all the attention was now on me.
“Come here” Beta Aldric snapped, and I immediately approached him.
“On your knees” He said with anger evident in his tone, and I immediately dropped to my knees.
Immediately I knelt down, I felt a slap on my cheek. My head snapped to the side, my hair flying across my face, and my cheeks turned crimson red. The slap really hurt, because I hadn't recovered from the punishment I received earlier. I had the urge to cry but I bit my lips, that were bruised.
“On your feet Omega” Beta Aldric snarled above me. “You still didn't learn from your mistake of not remembering your place in this pack, and you still choose to be disrespectful and careless.”
I pushed myself and bowed my head with the knowledge that no form of excuse would bring me out of the situation I had gotten myself into.
Before I could recover from the pain, I was shoved to the ground and it was hard enough to send me sprawling backwards to the ground and my head came in contact with the tiles.
Tears welled up in my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. I bit my lip so hard so that I won't break down. I heard little giggles from Cassidy and her minions but I didn't show much concern towards them.
My body really throbbed from the pain, but I knew Beta Aldric was far from done with me. He towered over my fallen body and was about to slap me, until he heard Damien’s deep voice.
“Enough” Damien said with authority in his tone.
“Sorry you had to witness that, is just the Omega's usual behavior so I had to discipline her.” Beta Aldric said in a calm which he rarely used.
Damien shoved Beta Aldric aside and approached me. He offered me his hand to help me stand. This action made my heart rate increase, but shock and anger flicker across Beta Aldric and Cassidy’s faces.
“Thank you,” I muttered and took his hand for support. His hand felt warm and the simple touch sent warmth rushing through me. I longed to keep holding on but eventually I didn't when I finished standing up.
Lucian stepped forward and rested his hand on my shoulder and gave me one of his charming smiles that made my legs turn to jelly.
“You can leave,” Lucian said calmly.
I immediately left the hallway and went to the kitchen mistress room to tell her I had finished with the lunch.
I reached her room and knocked lightly on her door.
“Who's there?” Mrs Parker snapped.
“Ma'am, it's me the Omega,” I replied meekly and waited for her response.
“What?” She asked from inside her room, clearly frustrated that I’d disturbed her.
“Ma'am, I'm done with lunch,” I replied her [replied] with a respectful tone.
“I've heard”, she said bluntly and I left.
I approached the laundry room, so I could pick my towel.
When I arrived I picked my towel and headed towards my chambers. On my way, I bowed my head slightly, then I bumped into a wall that hadn’t been there before. I lifted my head and realized, I didn't bump into any wall but a hard chest that belonged to Damien.
“Aren't you the maid who knocked over the statue earlier?” Kael asked calmly.
“Yes,” I murmured and kept my gaze lowered.
“You are really careless, learn to be more careful.” Lucian said, his tone serious but calm.
“Sorry for the punishment you got earlier, and next time try to stay away from Aldric. He can be so cunning, and if he despises you nothing can change that.” Damian said, his tone deep and husky.
“Thank you” I muttered and left. I turned my head to the side to find Kael staring at me, then he quickly looked away.
When I reached my room, I locked the door and lay on my bed and the images of the Alpha's sons came to my mind. I closed my eyes to try to sleep and forget about them, but my encounter with them came flooding my mind. Damien’s warm hands, Kael's calm voice and Lucian touch. The memories sent heat pooling between my thighs.
I closed my eyes and let the fantasy flood my mind.
I imagined three of them using their tongue to please me in different ways. Their firm hands grabbing my butt cheeks and their husky voices speaking dirty words with me. I could feel the heat building between my thighs and, I was aching with need.
I couldn't believe the three brothers had really changed me within seconds. Because, normally, I wouldn’t stay in my room at mid-day when they were preparing for a ceremony.
Kael woke up at midnight when everyone was asleep, including his brothers, so he could execute his plan.He moved slowly and quietly out of the room, making sure not a single sound came from his steps.Kael approached Beta Aldric's office, careful not to be seen or heard. When he reached Aldric’s study, he checked through the keyhole to see if anyone was still there. Luckily, he did, because Beta Aldric was still inside.Kael was about to leave when he heard something that made him freeze.“So what you’re saying is that Damien contacted you about their mate?” Beta Aldric said to someone on the line.Kael stayed rooted to the spot, waiting to hear more.“Has Kael contacted you recently?” Aldric asked.“Wow, that means only Damien and Lucian have reached out to you,” Aldric confirmed.“Anyway, my daughter will be yours when she’s done playing her part in making me the Alpha,” Aldric assured.“Don’t forget to keep training your pack warriors consistently,” Aldric added, and that made Kae
“What does he mean by he saved us?” Damien muttered, his brows drawn together in confusion.“Well, I have no idea. All I know is that he’s bipolar,” Lucian replied, a smirk tugging at his lips.“Why does he always have to act so strange?” Damien asked, stroking his chin thoughtfully.“He’s always been strange, but now it’s more obvious,” Lucian said with a shrug.“Yeah, he definitely acts strange.” Damien added with a sigh.“Ugh, this place is so boring. I preferred when we were in New York City,” Lucian complained.“Shh,” Damien hissed, placing a finger against his lips. “That’s supposed to be a secret.”“It’s not like anyone would know,” Lucian muttered, rolling his eyes.“You should be cautious. Carelessness may lead to your fall,” Damien warned.“Whatever…” Lucian scoffed, rolling his eyes again.“I’m serious,” Damien muttered firmly.“You’re always serious,” Lucian teased.“I’m not.”“Yes, you are,” Lucian said, laughing at Damien’s sternness. They didn’t notice Kael step into th
“How could he do this to us?” Damien asked, his voice thick with anger. “He betrayed us, and he’s completely lost my trust.”“Well, when he reported us and acted like it was nothing, whatever hope I had left in him went down the drain,” Lucian said sincerely.“Same here,” Damien added.“Do you still think he’s up to something, some plan or reason behind all this?” Lucian asked, raising his brows, his tone dripping with sarcasm.“Oh yeah, I still think he’s up to something, but he’s lost my trust,” Damien replied firmly.“To me, he doesn’t look like he’s planning anything, just a betrayer and a backstabber,” Lucian thought to himself.‘My gut tells me Kael’s up to something. I’m sure he’s doing this to find our mate. But because he betrayed us, my trust in him is gone. I pity Lucian, it’s unfortunate he’s still naïve and not as wise as Kael,’ Damien thought, though he didn’t say it aloud. Instead, he stared blankly, lost in his thoughts.“What are you thinking about?” Lucian asked, sna
“He betrayed us. How could he?” Damien complained to Lucian.“Well… with the way he’s been acting lately, I’m not surprised. His mood swings and all, one second he’s angry, the next he’s sorry, then he’s supportive, and now he’s in denial. He’s really not trustworthy, or even worth our trust,” Lucian poured out, frustration lacing every word.“Yeah, maybe. Still, I have a feeling he has his reasons,” Damien said, stroking his chin.“Reasons, sure,” Lucian muttered, sarcasm dripping from his tone.“I really think he does. Didn’t you realize that when we left the room, he was in a normal mood, but when he came to the study, he changed? I feel like something triggered him, but I’m confused. Whenever he says anything, it sounds so true that you don’t know when to believe him and when not to.” Damien shook his head.“I don’t trust Kael, and I don’t think I ever will. Well, maybe if he stopped with this split-personality act, I could consider forgiving him,” Lucian said flatly.“You know, w
Cassidy was pleased with what Kael had said, but Lucian and Damien’s words left her deeply unsettled. A cunning, deceitful idea flashed through her mind, which was to report them. But first, she needed to keep spying on the Alphas. ‘I wonder who I should spy on first. Since Damien and Lucian are still together, maybe I should start with Kael. But first, I think I’ll take Emily with me.’ Cassidy reasoned this as she went to look for Emily. ‘Now where the heck am I going to find her? I think I should check my room where I left her. Maybe she’ll still be there.’ “Good morning, ma’am,” a group of maids greeted, but Cassidy didn’t respond. Her mind was elsewhere. When she reached her room, she found Emily laughing on the phone with someone Cassidy didn’t recognize. Cassidy narrowed her eyes, watching longer than usual. Judging by Emily’s tone, her words, and the way she twirled her hair, it seemed she was speaking to a man. After what felt like hours, the call ended. “Who was that,
"I'm… sorry for the way I acted earlier," Kael said, his voice low. The words came out stiff and awkward, because an apology was something he hardly ever gave.Damien blinked, staring at his brother with genuine surprise in his eyes. "I forgive you," he said almost immediately, the words coming out without hesitation."Why did you have to attack him?" Lucian asked suddenly, his gaze locking onto Kael’s."I lost control," Kael admitted, disappointed by what he did."But he wasn’t the reason you lost control. You could have left him out of it!" Lucian snapped, his tone harsh and his eyes never leaving Kael’s."I know," Kael replied, calmer this time."There’s no need for this quarrel," Damien interjected, his voice firm but soothing. "He lost control, and I understand that.""That doesn’t make it right for him to attack you," Lucian shot back, glaring daggers at Kael."I’m sorry," Kael said again, more times than he ever had before. It was unlike him, and they all knew it.Damien leaned
