The camp smelled of iron and fire. Tristan was standing alone in the central circle, he was sweating profusely. The darkness within him seemed to return and he was trying seriously to fight it. His breathing was heavy; he had to support himself with his sword as the force was so strong he could barely stand on his own.

He saw shadows, and at the same time he was hearing voices telling him to burn everything down and run. The madness was returning, it was the voice of the first Alpha.

At that point he realized that the curse had not ended, it was still there somewhere waiting to come out.

He held tightly to the blade of his sword as he tried to steady himself. He had to fight this, there was no way he was letting this madness take over him again. Especially not now that they have been through a lot.

He thought the curse had been broken, but it was clear to him now that the power was s there. Probably hidden or buried as he could feel the rage and hunger that came with it.

“You always know how to find me,” she said, smiling brightly as she saw him.“I wanted to see you,” Leandro replied as he walked closer.Leandro had been watching her for sometime now as she was playing with the water. He just stood watching, marvelling at how she was skillfully controlling her magic. Each time he saw her, all he wanted to do was to mark her as his mate. She made him always want to lose control of himself but he held himself. He wanted her to be readyIt was the first time he was seeing her alone after the binding ritual with Tristan. She had changed in so many ways. She seemed to carry herself better now, like she was in total control of who she is and had accepted her fate and powers.“Come she said,” holding out her hands to him.He saw her eyes then, there was a certain beautiful glow to them, not of enchantment but they seemed to have so much awareness in them.He walked towards her with confidence all the while looking at her. Leandros arms were hurting him already by the time they got to the pack's stronghold. But he didn't dare put her down nor did he let anyone take her from him. His shirt was soaked with her blood. His eyes never left her face for a second. He was very afraid, he didn't want to lose her. They had lost Malik to this terrible evil battle, Ena though alive limped throughout their journey back to the camp. The death of Malik, a painful reminder of what they had been through. As they approached the pack grounds, every step felt heavier than the last. Seraphina was still breathing, but barely. That small, fragile breath was all that mattered now.The healer’s den was in sight. The scent of herbs and old wood filled the air as they crossed the threshold, and Isabella and Lydia were already there, waiting. Isabella's hands moved with purpose, sweeping through the door before Leandro even had a chance to speak, already reaching for Seraphina with the efficiency of someone who had done this too

The boy was changing. Not slowly, like the seasons that crept in unnoticed, but with the kind of sudden violence only a storm could bring. A force that moved through the calm, ripping apart everything it touched. It began quietly, almost imperceptibly, with dreams. It was never clear where they came from. Whispers in languages Lioran had never been taught. Visions of forests burning, wolves howling at shattered moons, mountains splitting open like the skin of an ancient beast. At first, Isabella thought it was nothing but nightmares. The child was young, too young to be burdened by the weight of visions. And yet, every morning he woke, silent and distant. His eyes weren’t wide with fear, though. They never were.He woke still, watching something only he could hear.Something that made him different.Tristan noticed it too. Lyon’s eyes had changed. • THE PURE ALPHA    Isabella's POV

Isabella, the daughter of Alpha Leclair was on the training field. She moved with great precision and skill, very quick and she didn't look or feel tired even though it was an intense fight. Her packmates on the training ground, watching her every move with great admiration. Most of them envied her and wished they could fight like her. Her opponent attacked, he was a big warrior with broad chest, battle-hardened warrior, with years of experience but Isabella outsmarted him effortlessly, she moved on her feet and her braided hair flung out like a whip behind her. She dodged his every move very well and hit him on his ribs with her elbow causing the warrior to cry out with pain, but Isabella didn’t give him time to recover. She turned around quickly, sweeping his legs from under him, making him fall on the ground and before he could gather himself she was on top of him, her dagger on his throat. The crowd of people who had stopped their own training to watch her clapped. “She’s incre

Blood moon encounter(The prophecy unveiled)Isabella in the heat of the moment still held onto her dagger. “You’re not from our pack and you obviously are trespassing.” She said in a steady voice even though her heart was pounding in her chest. He bent his head slightly amused at her statement. “I'm very much aware of whose lands I presently stand on,” he said.“Such arrogance” Isabella thought” She stood her ground, neither moving nor blinking but her wolf kept jumping beneath her skin, restless. He took another step forward effortlessly and for some reason she couldn't understand, his scent intrigued her. “Who are you?” she demanded. He smiled lazily, “Tristan Wolfe.” The name sent a shock through her. She knew that name. Everyone did. The rogue Alpha. His name was whispered amongst the packs as a wolf who answered to no one, obeyed no rules and he was feared. Her stance stiffened. “You need to leave.” Tristan didn’t move. “Or what?” he asked mockingly. Isabell

  • THE PURE ALPHA    Tristan's Confusion

Tristan woke up suddenly, he was sweating profusely. The dream had felt too real. He got out of bed rubbing a hand on his head as he tried to make sense of the dream or vision, whatever it could be called. In it he had seen a child, his eyes too bright, his voice too strong. A child that called to something deep inside him. He swung his legs over the edge of the makeshift bed he’d claimed for himself, his muscles tensed as he tried to shake the feeling off, but it wouldn’t leave. He wasn’t the kind of man to dwell on such things. He was a rogue, he answered to no one and didn't play by any rules. He was a man who didn't believe power was given by fate but that it had to be taken. And yet, his fists clenched. He had felt something in that vision, something that had unsettled him. Just then there was a knock on his makeshift cabin door. It was his second in command, Maddox. “Tristan, what happened to you? You look like someone who just saw a ghost” he said, noticing the expre

  • THE PURE ALPHA    Convincing The Council

Seraphina could see the doubts on all their faces, she could hear the murmurs of their disapproval as she stood at the front of the room, her heart was racing terribly and as prepared as she had been for this moment, the look on their faces made her begin to doubt herself again. The Pure Alpha, the one who the prophecy said was going to either save them or destroy everything had to be guided by someone and that person was her. He needs to learn how to control the power that flows through him as he's just a child. She’d spent years running from the prophecy, running from the fact that she had been chosen to carry the weight of it. And now the time to act and step into the role that fate has placed on her had come and there was no more running from it.“Seraphina.” someone called herShe turned and saw it was one of the oldest council members that had called her, and he had a sneering look on his face.“Are you telling us now that the Pure Alpha child, someone who has been said to bring

“Seraphina,” Tristan’s voice cut through the quiet. “Is there anything else?”“I have said it all.”His eyes were dark, and searching as he looked at her.“How can you carry both of those bloodlines? The Hollow Born, the Moonbloods, they’re too much. They don’t belong in one person.”Seraphina sighed. “I wasn’t given a choice, Tristan, this is what I am.”Leandro walked over to them then, his face grim. “The question isn’t how she carries both bloodlines. The real question is how she’ll be able to control the power inside her.”Seraphina observed all of them, and knew they were all battling with her revelation between them, feeling the weight of their gazes. Tristan’s voice was low, almost threatening. “But she has to decide, or it will decide for her.” Tristan said, his voice calm but hard. She nodded. “I know.”Later that night, Seraphina was on her own, thinking about everything. From the hearth a gentle crackling fire cast its warmth across the room. At this moment the stone walls showed shifting darkness as a mix of pine scent and wet night air filled the room. Seraphina occupied the space by the fire while her expression remained distant because she was worried by the council's decisions. From his position near the window Leandro stood rigidly. He hadn’t spoken much since their return from the northern woods, and Seraphina knew why. The forest had changed them all. What Leandro had witnessed in the woods, the power surge and how it had affected her had changed everything. The thought that she could have died. “Leandro, please try to understand,”Seraphina said with a soft voice as she stood near the stone table. Her hands laid gently on the cold stone table as she stood there while her fingers tapping absently on the table.Leandro turned from the window, his eyes locked onto hers. “Understand what, Seraphina? You’ve already told me enough. That tree… th
