Chapter nine: Running away part 2

He looked at her puzzled, was this a time to joke, what was so funny??

"Sorry couldn't help but laugh." Irene said

Why?? What's funny?? Kel asked

"It's just that, Madison is an exact replica of you."

That's impossible. How could you even say that. Kel asked

"Well it's the truth you were always so strong headed when we were young. So she takes after you. Irene replied.

"That's not true." Kel said in defence.

But Irene was already leaving the room, she needed to go and check on Madison, By now the little diva should have cooled off some steam.

Before she left the room she turned to kel and said

"Like father, like daughter."

She was teasing him because she knew he was upset.

Kel smiled at his wife's childishness, she was never gonna change. But that's the way he liked it.

"But was she right??  Kel thought to himself. Did Madison really take after him."

He remembered being very strong headed when he was little, But that was because he lost his father at a very young age and had a lot of insecurities.

"Insecurities."  Kel spoke out loud,  was madison having any insecurities?? Maybe he should talk to her and find out.

With this he walked out and headed to Madison's room.

Already  his wife  lrene was  standing at the door knocking but there  was on response from the other side.

Kel came up the  door and also knocked, but there was still on response.

"Madison honey, open the door you father and l just wanna talk " lrene said

But there was still on response

"Madison Ross, open this door now or l'll break it down. Kel said.

Still there was no response, so Kel had no choice than to break the door.

Kel and Irene walked into an empty room, they checked the bathroom, the walk-in-closet, and even under the bed but they could not find Madison.

While Kel was still looking around, Irene stood in front of an open window.

They were on the second floor there was no way Madison could jump out right??

Irene turned around and looked at Kel, Kel who knew exactly what she was thinking replied.

"No way."

They both looked out the window and noticed a long rope dangling outside.

"Did she really climb all the way down." Irene wondered. There daughter really had nerves, how could she do something so drastic.

"Honey check this out."

Kel spoke behind Irene, he was holding a little paper which had the words

"You don't love me anymore so I'm leaving."

Kel looked at Irene, Irene looked at Kel.

They were shocked their daughter Madison was definitely a little dare devil, how could she do something like this. Who knew where she was going.

Panic started to rise in the hearts of both parents.

Kel took out his phone and called the security in charge of the estate were they lived and told them to look for his daughter. While Irene called their neighbours and asked if they had seen her.

      Meanwhile.

Madison who was sitting on the sidewalk, took out her video game from her bag and began to play.

"This is so boring, why is it taking them so long to find me??  Madison muttered

"Maybe they are happier without me, I don't even think they love me anymore."

With this words tears began to fill Madison brown eyes.

Stacey who had been watching her closely the whole time felt really sad to see her sister cry, She was about to walk over to her.

But suddenly a delivery truck stopped right in front of Madison.

The driver got down and asked her why she was crying. The arrogant Madison who had been taught not to talk to strangers replied

"It's non of your business, so leave me alone. "

But as she was about to stand up and walk away the driver grabbed her covered her mouth with something and put her in the back of the truck.

Seeing this Stacey kept screaming and running after the truck as fast as her little legs could carry but it wasn't fast enough and the truck zoomed off.

Stacey immediately turned the other direction and ran home.
