14. GAME TIME

The sun had reached its highest peak in the sky, casting long shadows and unforgiving to those subject to it's heat. I was blissful though, no one was trying to kill me and I had eaten to my heart's content. I rotated my shoulders to flex that muscles that had gone stiff, whilst I finally got to thinking about the good that came with mating Brum. I sashayed across the corridor, my legs eating the distance between my final destination and I until on a scant few meters were left when I stumbled upon the cleaning crew.

“A good morning to you, ladies.” I greeted.

“Good morning, your highness. Her majesty said you needed help cleaning your office.” The head cleaning lady said. I grinned thankfully. Areli was a darling to be kissed.

“Yes, thank you.” I said, walking into the office.

“The beta seems to have abandoned the office, he prefers the wild now.” I chirped as we walked into the office. It was dusty, as was expected of a place long abandoned, save for the shoe prints that lead to a
