CARA’S P.O.V

“Hey babe” I hugged him from the back when I came out of the shower. “Hi, my love,” he said, shutting a book. “What were you reading?” I asked. “Ah, just some boring business book he answered” turning around and holding me close to him. “Why are you so warm? Are you feeling okay?” he asked, his eyebrows creased with concern. “Just a little weak. I’m sure that it’s nothing” I said to him. “Okay, babe…I love you” he said. “I love you too…so…so much,” I said, placing a kiss on his lips.

“So where’s the gift?” I asked. “What gift?” he looked at me with a confused expression. “The gift that you received earlier on silly. Don’t tell me that you forgot it at the office” I broke out of his hold and folded my arms across my chest. “No babe…I’m just messing with you” he laughed. “I left it downstairs. Let’s go and open it together” he said, holding my hand, we went down to the first storey.
