THE SECOND WIFE OF A BILLIONAIRE

The dark starless sky roared with thunder as a flash of lightning allowed me to catch a glance of the face that I feared. I kicked and screamed, I struggled and fought as I was being dragged out of the La’Vardo mansion. I could feel my skin scraping against the ground as I felt powerless against my tormenter. I wasn’t worried about myself but I had to save the baby that I carried inside of me!

 I dug my nails into the hands that were dragging me, they finally let go of my hair giving my burning scalp some relief. Not wasting a chance of escape, I tried to run back into the mansion where I knew I would be saved but then came a heavy blow to my head and I fell to the ground. I could feel the blood oozing out but there was nothing that I could do to save us…

I was pulled through the memories of the life I lived, like a speed train I had each memory being thrown at me…so much of love…so much of pain… so much of happiness…so…soooo much more memories to be made!

I didn’t want to give up. I wasn’t going to give up with the memories that I had…the memory of finding my father thrown at our doorstep, blood escaped through the bullet wound that he had on his chest…I remember just how tightly he held onto my hand, I remember the tears that flowed from his eyes as he choked on his own blood and battled to take his last breath…

And then I remember you, Emma, your smile was the only smile which matched mine. Your eyes held hope for the entire world and your heart…oh dear Em… how your heart longed for that romance but just how the sun sets, you too went away leaving your brother and I in darkness.

I coughed and groaned in pain as I was being dragged further and further away from the mansion and you…

You…my love…my life…my entire world…how can I leave you in such darkness? I carry your child in my womb and just like the sun rose and I forgave you for all of your mistakes, I would have placed our baby girl in your arms and the sun in our lives would have never again set! I failed you my love! I wish that you can somehow hear my cries or look through the window and run to our rescue…I wish and hope that my trail of blood does not wash away with the rain…I wish and hope that I see you again…but for now I have to let the darkness swallow me…
