THE SECRET SPY ( His dangerous past)

JEANNE'S POV

"Grrh..' The loud alarm noise woke up and I groaned opening my eyes.

"Gosh! Just stop ruining!" I half yelled and picked it up before throwing it in the ground. I was about to dive into my sleep back when I suddenly recalled something important and I gasped.

I have a test! I have a damn test!

"No, no, don't tellme I just forgot about my test!" I exclaimed to no one in particular.

"Aaaargh!" I yelled out as I held my head and quickly rushed into the bathroom. Soon, I was done bathing and already dressed up. I packed my long lengthy brown hair into a ponytail before I then picked up my black netted sandals to match with the short blue gown I was wearing. No need for makeup, I have no time for that.

Then I rushed downstairs and met my mum setting the table for breakfast. My mouth watered immediately I saw the delicacies she made.

"Oh no!" I groaned. To be frank, I could not do without mum's breakfast.

"Good morning mum.." I said and pecked her before dropping my backpack and then grabbed a seat.

"Jeanne, you woke up late.." Mum said and I I rolled my eyes. I was not ready for the early morning nagging.

"Mum, please not now.." I pleaded and made to dig in when a voice stopped me.

"She's always lazy and clumsy. She knows she's late for college but then she still sits to eat.."

I rolled my eyes and I needed no saint to tell me that it's my uncle. Sometimes I really do wonder why he's staying here with us. He should get himself a wife and leave our family in peace. It's no secret that we both never get along, he's never been supportive of me except that he trained me in martial arts and combat.

I scoffed and continued my meal. I couldn't retort back to him anyway. It was a sign of disrespect.

"Rachael!" I heard my dad call me as he walked towards the dining room. He often addresses me by my middle name.

"Aren't you supposed to be in school by now.?" He asked and then took a seat.

I sighed and then dropped my spoon.

"Bye, mum, dad.." I said and without hesitating I walked out of the house.

A brief introduction, I'm Jeanne Thalcobs, 19 year old though I'm gonna be 20 soon. Tomorrow's my birthday. I'm very skilled in combat and then singing. I have a lovely voice. By the way, people address me as rude, proud and worse a spoilt brat but I care less. I know I'm not. And since tomorrow's my birthday, Dad has a big gift planned for me and I can't wait to see it.

Soon, I was in my school. On the way to my class, I bumped into one of my friends( not friends though) we were more like an acquaintance. Her name is Jenner.

"Jeanne, you also came late. We are going to be scolded together.." She giggles and I sighed.

"Have you heard?" She asked further trying to keep a conversation with me.

"What?"! I asked non challantly.

"The Talents Scout Institute are recruiting new students into the institute and results was just released yesterday.."

My heart skipped when I heard what she said. The Talent Scouts institute was a dream of every young student in the states. It was a very popular institute in America, it is place whereby students are trained both in education, martial arts, music and other important aspects of life in much more different and advanced level and also after graduating, , different special jobs awaits them from the government but as easy as it sounds, it's very rare and hard to get into the institute and most times, it takes luck.

I wish I could also join but then my parents would not be so willing to give me away.

"I wish I could join but I'm not skilled in martial arts and also I'm not so very brillant.." Jenner muttered and I smiled.

"I guess this isn't for us.." I shrugged. My phone beeped and I quickly checked it. It was a message from our class chat room.

"The test has been cancelled due to some reasons.." I read out and I scoffed.

"Oh really! After making me skip breakfast!" I rolled my eyes and put my phone in my bag.

"The test was just canceled!" I informed Jenner who nodded.

"Babe.." She suddenly yelled out to a handsome guy who smiled upon seeing her.

"I gat to go, see you later.." She says and ran off.

Just then I noticed that a crowd had gathered at a point and Curiously I went there to beep.

I wasn't shocked when i saw Reiner and and his boys bullying a beautiful fair girl. This was like the daily activity. It's funny right because this is a college but then since no disciplinary action was taken by the school authorities, Reiner continued his devious work.

He was pouring a bottle of water on the girl's hair while the other students stood and took videos of them.

Reiner smirked and then grabbed the lady by her waist making me more furious.  I clenched my  fists angrily. I have always ignored them but this, I'm not going to ignore.

"Hey! Stop it!" I yelled and and all eyes turned on me. Reiner smirked and signalled for me to come closer.  I scoffed and folded my hands under my chest.

"You little bitch, why are you stopping me?" Reiner asked with a sly smile.

"Nothing, just wanted to you know that you are a disgusting old rag for toying with a lady like that.." I said and everyone gasped. 

Reiner frowned immediately he heard that.

"What did you just say?!" He growled as his eyes dimmed.

"I don't I have repeat it for you to know that you are dim wit.." I said infuriating Reiner the more.

"Go get her!" He said to his boys and they immediately walked towards him. I smirked and then pulled inr by the collar and gave him a hard punch on his lips before using his head to hit the other guy besides him. They both groaned and i kicked the other in the stomach making him to fall on the ground. The remaining other two boys ran off in fear.

Everyone stared at me in awe. I guess they were bot expecting this at all. I smirked and then moved over to Reiner who was moving backwards slowly. Swiftly, I grabbed him by the collar of his neck and then gave him a hard punch on the lips which immediately bursted.

I released him and then grabbed his hand twisting it hard that he groaned in pain.

"P...please.." He stuttered and I smiled widely.

"Will you ever bully again?" I asked with sly smile and twisted the hand the more.

"No... arrg... I promise... I promise.." He said and I freed him.

"Thank you..." He said and bowed his head before he ran away hurriedly and everyone laughed out loudly.

"Thanks a lot Jeanne.." The lady that was bullied came over to me and I nodded.

Oops! That feels so good.

For the rest of the day, we had no classes left so I left school and headed him.

I groaned immediately I set my foot in the living room.

'Mum, I'm home! And I'm damn hungry!" I yelled.

"Jeanna.." I heard a strange but familiar feminine voice squeal. I turned to where the voice was coming from and my eyes widened in surprise.

"Kiara.?" I muttered.
