Contract Terms 1

After what happened earlier, grandma preached to me that I should respect my one and only personal bodyguard, Lucian. I was here in the room while sitting at the study table in front of my laptop. I was in front of the screen of the marketing sales for this month of my estates. But I can't get rid of what happened earlier in the living room.

I can still feel grandma hitting me hard on the head with her rolled-up newspaper. She favored and sided with Lucian more than me, her real grandson.

I just sighed when I looked at a family picture. It was my senior high school graduation together with my parents and grandma. My father was wearing his formal suit as if he had just come from the meeting, but did his best to be there in my graduation despite how busy he was. My mother and my grandmother wore the same red dress. The only difference was, grandma was the old version of mom. And mom was the young version of grandma.

I miss them. I took the picture frame and hugged it. It's been a long time since mom and dad had an accident, but until now, I still don't believe it was an accident. I know, I feel that there are big people behind all of that.

I felt tears welling up in my eyes so I quickly wiped them away with my index finger when the door suddenly opened. I looked up and saw Lucian standing by the door with his lips parted.

Even though my face was red from crying, I still managed to raise my eyebrows.

"You're envading my privacy, Lucian. Why are you here?"

I put the picture frame beside and looked intently towards Lucian who is still leaning on the door.

His arms were crossed while there was a smile tugging on his lips. What's wrong with this guy? He really looks like a crazy little guy.

"I never thought I would see you in that state, Miss." he said.

I rolled my eyes as a response and added. "What do you think of me? An emotionless being? My gosh Lucian. I'm also a human. I have feelings. Even a dog will cry and act like that when its owner is gone!"

"No. I mean. I always see you acted like a merciless, emotionless and a bitch lady. That's why I never really expected you to be like that." he said while walking into the window and leaning on it while keeping his eyes on me.

"You know what Lucian, if you keep on saying nonsense things, better to go outside and enjoy your free time. And I like your description of me. Very sarcastic and it really motivates me to be more merciless on you." I said while maintaining my poker face.

He acted like he was afraid. He even touched his heart and held it intently while looking afraid of me.

Wow! What a lunatic dramatic guy!

Should I bring this guy into the theatre for an audition?

"Is that how you say thank you, Miss? You're hurting me again! But now, you're hurting me emotionally!"

he said with full of drama.

Can I fire this guy? He's so annoying and a little immatured!

I walked towards the door and opened it widely while smiling at him.

"As your boss, it's my pleasure to open the door for my bodyguard. And besides, I declared you to go outside and please do your job professionally. Because you really ruined my reflection time." I said with a hint of disappointment.

He walked past me and stopped for a while. I looked at his back and his broad shoulder. He looked at me and smiled. He then took a step backward and stopped.

What's wrong with this guy?

Did the maids just cook something that ruins his normal function of his brain?

"What's wrong with you,? You're acting so weird!" I said. Because the truth is I feel scared for myself.

He suddenly tapped my shoulder. "You will be okay Miss. Just don't give up especially that I am still working for money. Just give up when my job is done. Okay? Bear it first...just a year. Hahahaha!"

Because of what he said, my blood boils and I ended up pushing him hard away and closed the door with a big thug sound.

I burst a heavy sigh and fixed my hair. He really got my nerves!

I walked towards my bed to pick the picture frame when I heard him shouting that made me stop.

"Miss! Don't forget to have patience on me! I'm still your personal bodyguard anyway! My life depends on how you will treat me emotionally, physically and socially!"

He shouted like an idiot outside. I gritted my teeth and sat on the bed. I stared into the door with full of anger.

That guy is really something! Why did Grandma hired him! He is so annoying! F*ck him!

"Will you just stop shouting there like an idiot f*cking beggar?! And drop your dramatic act Lucian! Or else, I will fire you, no matter what will be my punishment to be receive from Grandma!" I shouted while taking a deep breath.

"Miss! I don't think a handsome guy like me can be compare as an idiot beggar Miss! Besides, Grandma said, I'm the most handsome guy she ever meet!" I noticed his voice. It sounds like he is really enjoying what he said.

Did he think he's really that handsome? Phews! Ew! If he's really that handsome, why does I couldn't even dare a long single look at him?

"You fool! And you believed what my Grandma just had told you? Maybe you have forgotten that she has a husband! It means, her husband is the most handsome man in her eyes! Not you! What a fool!"

"You just cannot accept that your Grandma loves me better than you!" He shouted like a f*cking mad child.

The h*ck?!

What just he had said?! Did he just said..... Loves me better than you?!

I stood up and walked towards the door and opened it harshly.

I directly lay my eyes to the tall guy infront of me who is now staring at me with a smile.

I get my pen from my pocket and painted it at his face with a grin on my face. I saw how he got shocked and step 1 step backward.

He shoved his hands. "Just calm down Miss .. I didn't expect this one coming."

"If you keep on smiling Lucian, I will surely rip your smile away from your face until I will see your knees shaking and begging for another chance to live with a peaceful life! Understood?!" I said while keeping my teeth gritting each other.

Instead of getting scared of what I said, he smiled. My anger faded slowly as I slowly put down my hands.

Why? Why are you smiling?

Are you crazy?

"You're cute. You look like you are chewing something inside your mouth when you get mad at me." he said.

"Just you wait and you will be punished according to what you did Lucian." I reminded him and closed the door.

Okay....maybe a contract terms  will do to keep his mouth shut.
