CHAPTER 20: AVOIDING AIDEN AND SELENA

“Where are you going?” Darius remarked following Lynette as they sauntered into the living room, he tried to seize her hand, but she escaped his grip. She had returned to the wrestling hall and took her stuff before leaving.

“I just need to be alone.” She muttered facing him, strands of her hair moving behind her back.

“We are not done with the training?” Darius inquired looking at her with watery eyes.

“Just leave me alone!” She barked and he froze. She scurried toward the door, she exited the house while Selena joined Darius in the living room. She raised an eyebrow when he glared at her.

“What? I didn't do anything.” Selena backed away, raising her hands.

“Get ready. We are killing more humans.” Darius' face changed.

“I don't think we should do that. We killed someone yesterday.” She stepped toward him.

“What? Darius, you promised that you would never do that again.” Aiden said stepping in, he stood behind Selena.

“There is no harm caused in breaking promises.” Darius assert
