They both fell in love on the night of their date

Chapter 3

"Calm down it's not something to be upset about okay." She apologized for not coming earlier.

Annie only smile back at her and shouted. "Eli guess what,"  Annie said, grabbing her hand out of excitement.

"what?" Elisa said with a worried voice.

 "It worked." as she jumped around, Elisa interrupted.

"Calm down Annie, and start thinking of what to wear." Annie paused, hearing that it was her first time going on a date with a guy.

"Yeah, you are right that never crossed my mind," Annie said with fear.

"Don't you worry, I got you covered," Elisa said with a smile, she was the type of person who loves fashion, design, makeup, and accessories she was not used to doing without those things, so immediately she said she was going to dress her up to look her best for the date.

"Thank you so much, Eli, I don't know what I could have done without you."

"My pleasure," Eli said as they both smiled at each other, and walked to Annie's house on getting home Annie never spoke to her mom, dad about the date because she knew her parent would not accept that. She remembered her last date, where she was being locked up by her parents not to go because they claim he wasn't good enough for her identity.

"Won't you tell your parents about him?" Elisa reminder Annie.

 "Not yet, until I get to know him properly. My parents must not come to find out anything about him; promise me." Annie said, holding Elisa's hands.

 "ok fine we won't tell them anything till you are ready?" Elisa said hugging Annie.

Elisa helped Annie in the transformation of her into a curly style, her dress was selected to be in pink, but Elisa said it should be a romantic date so they went for a red short dress, her heels were black as well as the color of her hair, and bag, she was putting on much makeup even though she does not like makeup, after they were done with everything then Annie walked up to the mirror to see her new self. She was so shocked admiring herself in the mirror, she could not believe it was her, she could not hold back her tears, as tears roll down her eye.

"Thank you, Eli I don't know how to take you for being there for me, " she said with tears in her eyes.

"Oh please stop crying now or else, I would start crying too, and your romantic night would be ruined," Elisa said, hugging Annie "but what should I do, it wouldn't have worked out without your help Eli," Annie said.

"Please stop embarrassing me, I am your friend and will always stand by you no matter what. So wipe your tear now before you spoil your makeup completely."

 Jessie was already prepared he was dress in a bold black suit with his car already waiting for Annie outside of the house then he called her up. Then Elisa took Annie out of the house to Jessie on seeing Annie Jessie was speechless, he couldn't help staring at her. Elisa, cracked her voice it was by then he knew they had already reached where he was standing, he tried to control his feelings trying not to embarrass himself in front of Elisa.

When they were about leaving Annie whispered to Elisa saying "take care of my parents till I am back they must not come to know anything remember your promise" Elisa answered shivering "ok fine please don't be late before they would come to find out the truth while I disguise myself as you." 

Annie was a smart and intelligent young lady, she knew her family would not accept her dating a man, without getting to know him well. Her parents usually go into the room early, Annie told them that her friend Elisa would be spending the night at their house. 

On getting to the restaurant Annie was blindfolded and was taken to their table then Jessie untied her eye, Annie could not believe her eye she could not help but jump on Jessie.

"So do you like it?" Jessie asked Annie 

"Like it? I love it," she said out of excitement.

"Am glad you love it, I have a gift for you."

 He gave her a necklace "Annie I know we just meet and this might be happening too fast but I could not control my feelings since the first day I saw you am in love with you, give me a chance into your life to prove my love to you, I love you" Jessie said.

"I love you too and I hope this works out between us," she said as she kissed Jessie.

"You have no idea what you have done for me by saying yes! I promise you would not regret your decision." he ensured her.

 They had food, danced, and also talked about themself except for one thing the both of them were hiding from each other, their identities.

Annie went home so happy that night and meet Elisa still awake she got scared that her parents might have found out that she went out on her date without their knowledge.

"Oh no no no! This should not be happening right now pls dear God" she said to herself as she moved closer to face the havoc she has cost.

"Eli, what happened did my parents find out about this?" Annie said looking terrified.

" Where have you been Annie I was so worried about you, why did you stay so long when you knew your parents know nothing about this. What if something would have happened to you, what would I have said to them." Elisa said so horrified.

"Relax am fine but why are you still awake," Annie said 

"Didn't you heard what I said, I was just worried about you that's why am still awake, but I was almost caught" Elisa said 

Annie made a sigh of relief "thank goodness, now I just need to get rid of this makeup and dress before anyone sees me with them." she said putting away her bag.

Annie slept like a princess that night she could not control herself from smiling throughout the night not giving room to any kind of worries.

The next day in school

Jessie was the first call Annie received on her cell phone "why am I acting this way, I have never felt like this before about a guy why is Jessie own different, I have to get a hold of myself because I know once he comes to know what I am he would want to have nothing to do with me" she said to her self warning 

Jessie held her hand from behind "what are you thinking about my queen?"

"Nothing much just thinking if our parents, would accept our relationship," Annie said looking into his eyes.

"Why not my parents have always wanted me to find my mate home and guess what I told them about you already." Jessie said with a smile.

"Your mate! I don't get you" she said because she knew it was only wolves that so say that.

"Oh, I mean a lady. You are now my mate in life because you are now in a relationship with me. It's another word for life patterns right?" He said trying to convince her.

"What! I mean don't you think it's too early." Annie said looking tensed

"It's okay they would have to accept my choice because I have given my heart to you already," Jessie said with confidence.

Jessie was also a werewolf from the black moon pack, his father is the alpha of the pack. Jessie was raised in a wild way his dad would always say to him "you are the son of an alpha and one day you will rule over when am no longer alive. And in other for you to be able to govern your people, you need to be wild my son".

Jessie would say to his father " I  want to be the next alpha but, I just want to leave a normal life, not a life of always been under some threat or the other. I don't want this kind of life for my kids, why is it hard for you to understand me".

"You are such a fool. I wonder who you too after because you are not like me your father" he yelled.

"This is your fucking problem dad. You are so obsessed with power that you don't even care about your family's happiness. I have spent most of my childhood in fear." Jessie said talking back to his father.

" Happiness! How dare you stand there and lecture me about family. When you know everything I have been doing is for your well-being". He shouted and drag mom's attention.

"Oh no! don't you pretend to be doing it in my favor dad because you and I know how cruel you can be when it comes to power dad," he spoke back at his father.

"Oh really! you are now grown up to talk back at me, you ungrateful coward after everything I have done for you." He said approaching, Jessie.

Mom cut in "no dear pls don't hurt him, forgive him he is just a child remember he is our only son. Don't take his words too serious to heart" she said pleading in tears.

"You better talk some senses into your son woman before I would do something nasty to him" he warns brutally as he stumbled out of the house.

She ran to her son "Mom how could he be so selfish. Wish he wasn't my father." he said in regret.

"No don't you ever make such a statement. He is your father and he loves you please my son for you not to invite the wrath of your father upon yourself. You have to do as he pleases, for now, at least if not for anyone do it for me." mom advised. 

"Mother I can't continue like this anymore, for how long will I keep on pretending. I think is high time I stand for what I want and not his, this whole shit has to stop!" He voiced out angrily.

"I know dear but with time things will get better soon. I don't want to lose you, you know how dangerous your father is" mom said with tears in her eye.

"You should be talking to him to let me have my freedom and not me adapting to his conditions".

"You know how stubborn your father can be and besides. I am the luna and here in our pack women don't have a saying. We are always considered not useful and discriminated against, where the men are making decisions. I shouldn't be telling you, because you know that for yourself."

"That the problem, a place where people are existed out of others some Is considered more special than the other is that the kind of life you want for me, mom?". He said feeling irritated

"According to history, this has been happening for centuries. And that has kept our lineage going, otherwise, we would have been wiped out from the surface of this earth." Mom said trying to explain things to Jessie.

"But mom can't anything be done to change this whole shit?"

"This is who you are Jessie. You belong to the black moon pack and there is nothing you can do to change your fate, I wish your mother was in the position to give you what you deserve in life but she is helpless right now my boy." said feeling disappointed in herself.

"It's okay mom, you don't have to blame yourself It wasn't your fault," he said hugging his mother to console her.

In the first week, everything seems not too smooth. Everyone was just minding their, no one was showing interest in another because of the last incident that occurred.
