Chapter 38: Time
Lilith sat in the couch in the library, reading over the almost blank page, wondering, what was she scared of? What did she fear?
"Lilith, take a break." She heard Adrian from behind her, she turned to him, sighing.
"I can't, I need to figure this out." Her eyes followed him as he took a seat beside her.
"Then I'll help, I can draw out emotions as I did in training do you remember?" She nods, he placed his hand on her cheek, his eyes turning a darker red. "Aiauné." Her eyes flashed red as she felt an overwhelming emotion. "What do you fear?"
Images flashed, all she saw was Adrian walking away from her, she felt pain in her chest even though, she knew it wasn't real, but she now knew what she was afraid of.
"Losing you." She whispered her heart feeling heavy, her eyes tearing up at the thought as her emotions were tenfold.

They continued through the forest, they could feel the wolves coming closer and closer, but they ignored it as they approached a river.“I miss Seabiria’s oceans and my natural form,” Ophelia told them softly placing her hand in the water causing it to turn a beautiful glowing blue.“You were born a mermaid?” Lilith asked, the goddess of water shook her head eyes focused on the water as she answered Lilith’s question.“Yes and No, I was human in my mother’s stomach but when she pushed me out my legs changed into a tail, but after just a few months out of the Ocuano I was able to control my transformation, I was a very fast learner.” The Ocuano was like a hospital.“Good to know is-“ Before Lilith could continue a howl was heard as well as the sound of wolves running towards them. The Goddesses were currently having dinner, "So everything has to be cold." Darci asked as she ate her chicken. Marina nods, "Are you all staying the night?" They all turned to Lilith making her look up sighing. "Why are you all looking at me? I'm not your parents." She states as she continued her food, they continued looking at her for an answer. "Yes we're staying, I'm sure Ophelia and Marina need time to catch up, that would give Amethyst time to talk to the plants like she has been asking to do for a while and Darci some time to sleep." Once they went deeper into the village they could see the fire wielder shooting fire everywhere carelessly, The vampires tried to run but the fire around them would kill them in an instance. Lilith stared at the fire on the trees putting it out with ease, she knew she wasn't doing this by herself as she could feel Adrian's presence, she knew he could control fire with just a look. Her eyes moved to the fire wielders, Adrian used his magic to stop them from wielding fire. "You can go Adrian." And he did. "Jusbe eh osue." She whispered snapping the vampires' neck putting out the fire in the process. The fire wielder moved to run but Lilith wasn't going to let that happen. "Rapia." Ropes appeared wrapping around the fire wielders bodies and the vampires. "Bring them back to whatever holding cell you have, be quick I don't know how long their ability will be gone for." Kuan and the training guards did as told. "Leave the vampires, I need to have a chat with them.

"She's a vampire? How on earth is that possible?" Dailon inquired everyone, awaited her answer."Well, we've come up with a theory. Xaviana is favoured by the sun, so she's was granted the ability to become one, we got that idea from the humans in their stories vampires aren't allowed outside in the sun because they'll burn." Marcella asked."Because he's favoured by the moon not the sun, that's why he became my mate, the moon paired us together.""Wait, since Xaviana has your blood and Adrian's, she's a vampire, a witch and most likely a wolf," Amaris said making them realize what she was."She's a tribrid, how are we going to fight her?" A/N: Look for the chapter called Explanation so you can understand the characters and their powers! A/N: I made this so you guys can have a better understanding of the book and people in it! Hope this helps, I'll be adding more stuff later but for now, this is what you have to understand the book, I will also be splitting it half so like if someone has read 1-15 I'll make a chapter that will explain everything in those chapters the person read, I'm arranging this so you guys can spend fewer coins on one chapter that explains everything in the book but it costs a ton, so by separating them it will be less expensive, I hope I explained this properly.
