Lilith woke up, with a smile on her face.
Looking around, she saw Adrian was gone, she frowned, before deciding to take a shower.
After her shower, she dried off as she walked back into her room.
"Good Morning." She gasped, covering herself.
Looking up, she saw Adrian, sitting on her bed with a tray of food beside him.
"Adrian, I thought you left." She said, trying to cover herself properly.
"I went for some breakfast, I thought you might be hungry." Instead of looking at her body, his eyes were glued to her face.
"Thank you, I'm just going to change into something a little more presentable." He nods. She walked into her closet.
Finding a long white dress, she dried her hair, before leaving her walk-in closet, going back into her bedroom, taking a seat beside Adrian.
"I do hope you slept well." She smiled.
"I did, did you sleep?" He shook his head, as he gave her the tray of food.
"You can't sleep during astral projection."
"I'm sorry, I forgot, Thank you."
"It's alright, I enjoyed watching you sleep I mean—" She laughs, he smiled as she began eating.
"I got you some books to read up on, to understand our history better." He snapped his fingers and books appeared in his hand, Lilith gasped as she felt a wind of dark magic and a slight pain in her head.
"You have magic, dark magic." He nods.
"I do, when you read these books you'll have a better understanding as to why."
"Have you ate?" She asked, staring at her half-eaten food, she was already full.
"I have. Do not want any more love?" Lilith shook her head, he waved his hand over the plate, making it disappear, there it was again, the dark magic, it had her light-headed.
"Are you alright my love?"
"I'm fine, it just that anytime you do magic, it makes me faint."
"I think that's because you're a celestial being, you have angel blood, while I have demonic blood. Those don't mix, all my dark magic is, overwhelming to you. I don't know how to stop this."
"I'm sure there is something in my library." She got up, using her magic to make a portal, she could make her own portals without using all different types of ingredients as it was her realm.
"Portialia."
"I have to go," Adrian said making her eyebrows furrow.
"Why?"
"Royal business, but I'll see you on Monday, love." And he disappeared. Mara felt like he was being very distance but close at the same time, Lilith felt the same.
With a sighed, Lilith went through the portal.
Instead of being in her room, she was in the library, looking around, there were about a million books here.
She walked, towards a wall, Lilith placed her hand on it making it open, dust, and gravel fell around them.
There was a stairway, she walked down it. As she walked she lit, the torches, that were on the wall.
Soon she was at her destination, it was an underground library, with more books than the one upstairs.
"Vincula." She whispered in Latin, books came off the shelf going to her, gracefully.
Lilith took them from the sky, placing them on the table in front of her.
They were in Latin, luckily. Looking over them she found, the book, that could explain everything.
She opened it and began reading.
Bonds: Celestial & Demonic
By: Omar Bernard
-
For centuries, Celestial beings were viewed as life and Demonic beings were viewed as death. The two were never meant to be, as they were opposites. When they are around each other they became nauseous, they couldn't stay near each other without wanting to faint or throw up, both their auras were completely different making it hard for them to be in one room. Doing Magic around each other was dangerous, many have died, because of this.
It was rare to have a celestial being and a demonic being as a mate—but when it did happen no one survived.
A moon goddess, named Aurora once had a demon for a mate. He was actually the king of darkness, the ruler of death, he rejected her for a queen—he had thought Aurora was a nobody but he had found out she was the moon goddess it was too late and she took her revenge. She cursed his bloodline and her bloodline, no one in both their bloodline could ever have a mate, she never wanted her bloodline to go through the pain she went through.
Only the moon goddess could survive a demon mate, it will be hard at first since their magic is so different but once they mate and mark each other—she will have his blood in her and he will have her blood in him, the process is painful, but mating helps with the pain.
Once the moon is full, the goddess will go in heat, the moon will turn blood red, the pain she will feel will be excruciating, twenty times any normal heat. but when marked and mate on that night, the pain will disappear for a while.
Lilith closed the book. Shocked at what she had just read.
So Adrian was King of darkness, the ruler of death.
She had to mate with him, in order to survive.
They would have to mark each other.

- It was finally Monday, Lilithhadn't seen Adrian since their last encounter, 3 days ago and she was beginning to worry.
- It was a few days later, Lilith was currently at breakfast with her parents. She hadn't seen Adrian since they kissed and she was starting to freak out like always. This was her first relationship, she didn't know what to do, was it even a relationship? "Lilith, what's on your mind?" Her father asked, snapping her out of her trance. "Um nothing, just a little tired." Both her parents gave her a look. "You know I can smell and see when your lying." Her mother stated. All moon goddesses had that power, even though her mother stepped down, she still possessed it. "I can't see or smell it but I know when you lie, now tell us what's wrong." Her father pushed, she lets out a sigh, taking a sip of her orange juice. "I have a mate." They laughed her eyebrows furrowed. "What?" "We know, that's old news, so what's his name? Age?" Her mother, Amelia, asked. "His name is Adrian. He's not exactly the type of mate you would expect
- "My queens and king. Someone is here to see you." The same guard said. "Who?" "Me." She saw Adrian coming through the door, with a smile. Lilith immediately knew it wasn't Adrain in control. "Hello, love." She frowned. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Mara said. "Hi." "It nice to finally meet you, Adrian," Mariana said with a smile, eyes taking in his body, Mara paced around in Lilith's mind calming herself. "It's nice to meet you too, Mariana right?" He kissed her hand, making her smile but Nicholas frowned at how happy his wife looked with another man, this made Lilith laugh secretly. "Charmed." Nicholas got up and shook Adrian's hand, smiling. "It's nice to meet you." "Likewise." "Well we're leaving, have fun, I'll see you later?" Mariana asked. "Hopefully not, kidding, mostly." They hugged her as a goodbye before leaving, Mariana turned around before
- Lilith looked around all she saw was white, she had to admit this was hurting her eyes. "Aaperi—" She started, but a hand cuts her off. "I suggest you don't do that." She turned around meeting the eyes of a familiar face. "Aurora." The First Moon Goddess smiled, her black hair was in a bun, her skin was as dark as chocolate, her eyes were as grey as the grass in Xiafionica. "Hello, Lilith you've grown into a beautiful woman." Lilith smiles. Aurora wasn't dead none of her ancestors were they just chose to be hidden, to live a life where no one knew that they were goddesses. "Thank you but why have you brought me here? I'm sure Ad—" She cuts herself off not wanting to think about him right now. "That's what I came to talk to you about, you need to accept him." "—How can I accept him when he doesn't accept me, I'm quite sure he only wants me for my body." She spoke those words hating that they were true. "Please
It was currently noon, Lilith and Ophelia went their separate way. Lilith changed into a dress that was right above her knees and heels that made her taller than she already was, her hair fell gracefully against her back. She walked outside the castle where a carriage was waiting for her, it was white with the royal seal on it, the guards opened the door for her, she stepped in watching as they closed the door. "Where too?" "The portal of hell." The reason Lilith couldn't walk to the portal was that the grounds were made with hellfire anyone without the royal's family demonic blood would die from the first step. Lilith would have summoned the fairy to create a portal but she forgot to ask for her name. The carriage was made with the woods from the hellfire forest so it was the only thing besides demons and other people who had demonic blood in them. Lilith looked out the window, her mind was racing with over a million thoughts, but they
Days flew by rather quickly before Lilith knew it, it was the day she would be meeting Adrian. She was currently brushing through her hair, as she had already changed into her clothes for the day, it was a dress that fell above her knees, she also wore some heels call her weird but she found heels more comfortable than sneakers. Suddenly there was a knock on the door, she was too focused to realize the person had approached her room. In one swift move she stood up, going to the door, she could sense it was Adrian his scent was hypnotizing it had Mara wanting to take control but Lilith knew better than to give her Lyaofyn control, she opened the door revealing her mate, his hair was messy like he had been playing in it, his red eyes were as captivating as the shy smile he had on his lips, the lips she had been dying to kiss. "Here you." She looked at his hands he had some flower. "Thank you, How did you?—" He gave them her, she noticed these fl
Her eyes opened slowly, she groaned as a bright light glared in her hazel eyes, she could hear a beeping sound it was loud, she then realized her senses were heightened, Mara was half in control. She got up slowly groaning as her body felt weak, she noticed she was in her room, with Adrian laying beside her, she smiled, laying back down beside him, loving the warmth he gave her. "Suciua oisae." He spoke his eyes still closed. She looked up. (Hello love) "Suciua." (Hello) "You've been practising." Adrian states opening his eyes, showing off his red eyes and smile. "I have." She told him with a smile. "How are you feeling?" Lilith asked feeling a bit guilty that she placed him in this position. "Tired and a bit sore, you?" "Great, but I feel pain here and there, I feel a little guilty I shouldn't have asked you to do this." She admitted regret in her voice. "Don't feel guilty, I did it of my own free will and I wo
Later that day, Lilith and Adrian had joined their parents for dinner. "So why did you sent all the male workers to one side of the palace?" Her father, James asked. "I'm going into early heat." She told her parents as she ate her dinner, as did Adrian. "What? How? This has never happened before." Her father states. "It seems like nothing is the same for me as it was for mother," Lilith said. "You can say that again," Amelia said quietly, before asking, "Do you guys need us to leave the house, while you do heat stuff?" Lilith raised her eyebrow wondering what happened to the mother who was against them being together. "No, I don't think I'm that far along to go that crazy." Her mother nods understanding, Adrian watched their little exchange with fascination, they talked about her sexual life with ease no awkward pauses or uncomfortable gestures. Suddenly he felt Lilith's hands going up against his thigh, she kept it a close distance to
