Chapter 6 The Blue Room

DAISY’S POV

Stepping into the penthouse, I was greeted by a breathtaking sight: a massive glass wall offering a stunning view of the city, while the elegant decor, dominated by shades of grey and black, exuded a sense of coldness and loneliness.

With the incident in the elevator still fresh in my mind, I couldn’t help but wonder if this place would become my new home, even if only temporarily, and if Dylan’s actions indicated a dislike or even hatred towards me. I immediately regretted asking him about our meeting. While preoccupied with my thoughts, I completely missed David’s departure from the living room.

I hesitated to follow him, a nagging feeling in my gut urging me not to. He never told me where to stay or what to do in this unfamiliar place. As I manoeuvred in my heavy wedding gown, chosen by Julian for her special day, I wondered how I ended up here. Standing near the glass wall, I gazed out at the breathtaking city view.
