ZYRA.

Throughout the weekend was amazing, Riri, a name I came up with last minute, really did her thing and planned our weekend. We went hiking, which was so stressful but fun. We tried different restaurants and new meals, some that we both hated and some we loved and will try again, we dressed up just to take pictures at certain places and head back home, we did a car washing competition at home which I won considering my car was smaller, we went to the zoo for no reason we just didn’t have anything to do that day, and finally, we went shopping.

Riri helped me pick out the best outfits for work, from the two pieces cooperate sets we’d gotten from LV to the sexy, but modest suits, to the heels and bags from my favorite brand YSL? Everything was perfect. This was the first time shopping for things I didn’t want but needed and it was worth all the money spent. She was hell bent on making sure I looked good throughout the period of time I was going to work with Lane Empire.

“Ready for tomorrow?” Riri asked as we got into her car about to head out. We realized that we had one more thing to do that wasn’t done during the weekend, eat at Deans.

“Was born ready.” We laughed and hit the road. I’d never been worried or nervous about meeting any of the people I had worked with in the past, in fact, I was the one who made them worried, I came at my own time, never dressed professionally to any of the meetings and they abided by my rules and my terms, but now, especially with all the things Riri said and the way she wanted me to be my best, I was starting to put my thoughts together that this wasn’t the regular and I had to change the protocol. It’s a bit annoying but I’m hoping it’ll be worth it.

ARDYN.

I had anticipated and waited all weekend, and it was finally going to be Wednesday tomorrow. I wouldn’t say I was excited, but I was some sort of emotion. I wanted to see her, the lady who never showed her face but was the best at her work, the lady who worked for herself and not money, the lady who was ‘a rude ugly bitch’? It was going to be very interesting.

Zay was very impressed when I told him that I was going to work with her, so to celebrate me finally working with a woman, he scheduled a dinner reservation for us at a restaurant called Deans. He mentioned that they had a few tasty dishes and the place was organized, just how I liked it, so here I was putting on my coat and heading outside to meet him where he was waiting in the Ferrari, we were going to Deans.

We finally got to Deans and well, it was just how he described it; they had good customer care, and they were actually very organized. They had sections for bigger sets of people from five upwards and smaller sets from four downwards. Zay and I were issued to the smaller sets; we were just two. We placed our orders and took our seats. While waiting, we noticed a blonde and brunette opposite us, they were having the best time, making jokes and laughing. I recognized the blonde and once again I couldn’t see the brunettes face because she wasn’t facing me. I wouldn’t say this was a coincidence, but it was surprising, always a blonde and brunette.

“What do you think about these girls opposite us, Especially the blonde?” Zay asked after he had looked at them for the fifth time.

“And the brunette?” I found myself asking. I didn’t know why I was, but I just found myself wanting to know who she was. I wasn’t one to chase women or anyone in general, but I could see myself doing something a little close but far away from chasing, if I could just see her face.

“Don’t know bro, blondes are kind of my thing.” He said, laughing.

“Fuck off.” I laughed. Our food had arrived. Zay had been pumped up about the food, so I had to see what the fuss was actually about.

“This is actually really good.” I took a spoonful into my mouth.

“Told you.” Zay loved being right about something, and I hate to admit it, but he was right about this one. We ate in silence before he decided to say the funniest thing I’ve heard in a while.

“You know, if you keep up like this, from working with this woman, you could actually start liking women more and start dating one in the future and boom, we start having dates together.” I don’t think I’d ever laughed like this before.

“And what makes you think I would ever have something to do with someone I worked with?”

“Well, I didn’t say her though, but she might be your type who knows.” And this time we both started laughing.

“And what is my type?” I had to ask because where was he getting all these ideas from.

“Maybe that brunette you’ve been glancing at for some time now.” And for the first time, Zay had managed to be right about two things in one sitting.

“I haven’t even seen her face yet and you’re already making assumptions?” I said, laughing. She was someone I’d usually go for in terms of just sex but, she can’t be faceless, can she?

“For the fact that you’ve been staring, and you haven’t denied it yet, I just have to win this one.” He laughed.

       “Fuck off.”

ZYRA. I was surprised to see we've had peace for a full week. Ree and Zaylen going on house tours because they plan on moving in together, Cariño and I doing everything except having sex, my mom going on dates with her man, the man not haunting anyone and, the court case being tomorrow. How fast time flies. It was quite a week, though; a good week. Well, I guess I spoke too soon because not only is the court case tomorrow, but the press somehow managed to find a picture of me to upload on the internet as 'Miss Zyra'. What perfect timing. "I think you look good." Ree is my biggest fan. "I know I look good." We laughed. "I just want to know how they got the picture." Genuinely. I can't remember having an old forgotten Instagram account; or any of the employees at the company uploading the video evidence they have of Mike, which Cariño already said not to; for the press to use to find me. It was odd. Regardless, I liked the picture. It brought out my

RYNNELLE. "Rynnelle give me my phone." She got up aggressively and charged towards me. Hell no. I move to my dad's side and look at her dead in the eye. "No." She paused. I was so fucking pissed off. "Since I came here, the only word you've said to me is my name. You haven't bothered to have a conversation with me considering you were the one who desperately wanted this bullshit of a dinner-" "Elle-" Dad shouldn't even try to speak. "Let me speak my peace." I returned to Bethany. "You've been on this phone since I got here, and I came here because I wanted us to have a normal mother and daughter's time. One I never had." She just ran her hands through her hair. I could tell that she's more stressed about her phone that I was with, rather than any other thing. "Rynnelle, I don't have time for this, give me my phone." I told y’all. She didn't give a damn about anything that I just said. She had also become very mean and angry, but I wa

RYNNELLE. After the events last night, all the gossip that came with Zee's return from her date. How they shared the most beautiful moments of their lives together, talking about different things and how they really like each other; it was my turn. It was finally here. The day I never wanted to come. The day I'd rescheduled so many times to never. I was going to see her today. My mother, and that was something I didn't want, but it had to happen.&

ARDYN. "You're so funny." She was. Extremely. I spent the next few minutes listening to her rant about so many things that I didn't even know about. For instance, her mom left New York because she was being stalked and threatened, and Princess had to go stay with Gold. I didn't even think about it when picking her up. I just thought she was tired of her apartment. "She's doing better now, right?" This means that the man was indeed close by. Close enough to get into my office. "I guess. We talked today and she's okay." "That's great." We finally got to the lounge. That wa

For the first time in a while, I walked to him and gave him a kiss. I was just too excited. "I can see you've planned a little something for me tonight." He was the funniest.

ZYRA. I put my mom on the phone immediately. I didn't want to think of anything else other than what this could mean. Did he find a new method? Was I going insane? Or was he closer than I thought? It could be either one of these things, or it could be all. "Mamá, literalmente me estoy volviendo loco (mom I'm literally going crazy.)" I didn't have time for the formalities. This was dead serious.
