CHAPTER FOUR

Miho ran inside the house crying.

“Miss Wen!” shouted Rosa running after her up the stairs.

Miho went inside her room and lock the door as she slept on her bed crying.

“Miss Wen please open up” begged Rosa while knocking on the door.

“Leave me alone!” yelled Miho holding her pillow close to her chest.

Suddenly she caught sight of the pair of scissors on top of her drawer next to the lamp.

“If you want to talk I’m here” said Rosa from the other side of the door.

Miho reached her slim hand on the drawer and pulled the pair of scissors near her. She slowly got off her queen size bed and moved closely to the huge mirror in front of her with the pair of scissors on her hand.

More tears ran down her cheeks as she moved her eyes on the thousand pictures stuck on the mirror.

She placed her hand on one of the pictures which had her, her brother, a man who was in his early forties and a red haired boy who had his huge hand on Miho’s head.

More tears began to run down her cheeks as she recall the day they took that picture together.

They had been celebrating Miho’s birthday.

“How old are you?” the red haired boy had asked.

“Six, right?” Miho had asked.

“Yeah that is right little sister” the red haired boy had replied while helping her wear her birthday hat. “So don’t forget when they ask you after we are done singing happy birthday.”

“I won’t” Miho had replied with a smile on her face.

“Can we take that photo!” the man in his early forties had ordered while going through his phone.

“Aren’t we suppose to first cut the cake before taking photos?” asked the red haired boy.

“You know Jin father has businesses to attend to, which one day one of us will take over” Miho’s big brother had sharply replied. “Like father always say work while you still have time because you’ll never know the day you... you know.”

Jin had said nothing after his big brother had said those sentences only a look of pure venom had emerged from his winter gray eyes.

It had been clear that Miho’s big brother enjoyed seeing his little brother’s hate. He had a grin on his face was almost identical to his father.

“Your big brother is right Jin” the man on his early forties had replied.

“Daddy can I blow the candles?” Miho had interrupted them.

“Not now my treasure after we take a photo” the man in his early forties had replied.

“But I thought blowing the candles come first before taking pictures” Miho had said looking confused.

“That what I thought” Jin had said with a rude short laughter while leaning against the wall.

His father had gave him an unpleasant look.

“Not this time my treasure” Miho’s father had replied pulling her cheeks. “Daddy has to go to work so he doesn’t want to miss the taking of the pictures, now come.”

The loud yell from her big brother was what drew Miho out of her deep thoughts. She was sure that she was probably shouting at the maids or worse fighting with Apple who had suddenly moved in with them after their father had passed away.

“I hate you” Miho cried as she violently started stabbing her arm multiple times with the pair of scissors.

Blood appeared on her pink jacket as she threw the pair of scissors on the floor and got on her knees sobbing.

“I hate you Daddy, I hate you Lee, and I hate everything” she said between her teeth while holding her bleeding arm which was in pain.
