Chapter 3

"oh cousin it's you" Camilla exclaimed with a provocative smile on her face filled with so much mockery which was self evident to fortune and Asia . Fortune covered up her stunned expression and spoke without hesitation"Camilla what are you doing here?" she asked so straight forwardly that Camilla was taken aback and couldn't put up a proper sentence together, she obviously didn't expect this annoying fortune to speak without being restrained and went straight to the point. I abhor this stinky girl and can't stand her. Camilla had to put her disordered mind in place so as not to show any nervousness. She smirked and leisurely responded " of course I'm here for school just like you, don't tell me you are jealous dear cousin"  Camilla smiled lazily like she didn't give a care.

Fortune looked at her with deep eyes and wondered how possible this was. Seeing that this foolish girl only gave her a stare, Camilla passed by Fortune's side, brushed off her shoulder and ambled down the road like nothing ever happened. Fortune kept staring at her cousin's back in deep thought. could it be that she came to bribe the principal just to get admission, or maybe she lied about having bad results. Fortune was in such deep thought that she didn't realize how many times her friend called out to her. Witnessing the scene before her, Asia wondered what was going on and looked at her friend with some confusion in her eyes. Fortune, come on let's go, forget about that crazy spoiled cousin of yours, she called out to fortune several times before she responded,"ok let's go".They knocked on the door and soon went into the principal's office."

Good morning principal", Asia and Fortune greeted the principal at the same time. A middle aged man slowly raised his head from the pile of documents on his table and showed a bright smile. "oh morning" he said this and inadvertently stared at fortune with strange eyes like he had seen his prey. fortune felt a little uncomfortable, the look the principal gave her was inadmissible. Why in the world would the principal look at me with such disgusting eyes, doesn't he have any shame." oh sir, actually, the lady at the administration asked me to give u my information which had been lost by the school" Asia suddenly spoke out."oh yes,yes you can put it over here. "And what courses are you two ladies studying"

Asia looked at fortune and motioned for her to speak first.

Fortune responded with a straight face, so serious that she completely wiped out the smile she had when she came in "I'm going to be a medical student". The principal felt a little intimidated, why would this little girl suddenly turn cold, did I over do it just now? oh no but I couldn't keep my cool this little girl is just too nice and I would like to have her, no I better stay away from such a girl, she might ruin my career the principal thought to himself. " I'm studying the same as well" Asia spoke out at this time. "Good, good make sure you focus on your studies and avoid these young boys who might want to chase after you" the principle encouraged but Asia and Fortune felt a little strange. They smiled and turned to leave in a respectful way. Both of them couldn't stand the awkward atmosphere due to the topic and the eyes of the principle. was it just me or I really did see the principal look at fortune strangely. Asia thought to herself. 

On the other side, Camilla felt a sting in her heart. Could it be possible that the stupid girl found out what happened? she snappily shook her head, impossible,she didn't see nor did she hear anything so why am I being delusional? Either ways even if she's suspicious, it's nothing to do with me cause she has no proof. Camilla was so adamant in thinking everything was fine and nothing  inadmissible would be known to the public. Before she could take another step, her phone rang and she abruptly looked at her screen, it was her mother." Mom! you were right about that principal, everything went smoothly the moment he saw the money and was very satisfied with the amount I gave him. He assured me that everything was fine and that I could resume class soon as I possibly could"

Mrs Shaw was ecstatic upon hearing her daughter's words. "dear you have proved that you are indeed my daughter" Mrs Shaw exclaimed like she had won the lottery. If she hadn't attended Fortune's party that day, her daughter wouldn't have gotten this far. Remembering how she eavesdropped on those women who kept on blubbering about how ill-mannered and corrupt the university's principal was, she realized that this was an opportunity that she must take advantage of. There was a thread of hope for her daughter so Mrs Shaw gathered up all her savings as soon as she got home, she also asked her husband for  money as well as borrowed some from her brother Mr William who was Fortune's father. In a nutshell she succeeded in raising almost a million and knew it was an outstanding amount that couldn't be rejected. After gathering up all the money she could get, she stealthily explained to her daughter how to talk to the principal and bribe him and of course her darling daughter didn't disappoint her.
