14. Misunderstanding

Selena, who was asleep on the sofa with a tired body and mind, her face staggered in a vague momentary dream. Her mind was drowning in feelings of confusion and regret after the day that had shaken her.

However, Selena suddenly woke up. She tried to close her eyes for a moment, trying to understand what was happening. But something was caressing the top of her head, and a warm breath on the skin of her ear. When she opened her eyes, she was startled by an unexpected sight.

Behind her, in the center of the dim living room, was a man standing upright. His body looked like a human-shaped statue that exuded a mysterious and powerful aura. That man was Cedric.

Selena gasped and immediately sat down hurriedly on the sofa. She tried to understand what was going on. "Sir, what are you doing here?" she asked in a trembling voice.

Cedric smiled with a deep look, full of feelings that were difficult to understand. The man then walked over to Selena.
