15. Cedric is coming

As the door opened, Selena couldn't avoid her accelerating heartbeat. She knew who was coming. Cedric had come to her house. Selena felt so nervous. She didn't know what to say or how she should deal with it. All she wanted was to forget the incident and move on with her life.

The door to the house opened, and without being invited, Cedric walked in with steady steps. He looked just as handsome as he had that night at the club, and his eyes were full of desire. "Selena," he said in a deep voice.

Selena could only gulp and feel transfixed. She couldn't say a word. She didn't know what to do.

Cedric approached Selena, his hands reaching out to her face gently. "I want you."

Selena felt claustrophobic. "Mr. Cedric. I-I think this is wrong."

She felt like her heart was going to burst; this time, the man in front of her was the honest Cedric, no longer imaginary because she could clearly recognize his voice and the scent of his breath.

Cedric embraced her gently. "I can't pretend."
