Aria’s POV

They say it is better to be late than never. And I had found that to be true tonight.

You may have found it weird, but I never liked the sunset. Some may have been fascinated with the brilliant purples, blues, oranges, and pink blending in a canvass-like sky. But more than the aesthetics, I hated sunsets for the message they brought.

For me, sunset signified endings, a reminder that everything would come to pass.

I rushed to the place where the Lycan Hills was situated, almost tripping over the rocks on the ground. I had to reach the place before it was too late. I knew that a formal challenge for the alpha position would always result in death. It only mattered who would it be.
