Chapter 5: You don't have to

"Eh?" My reaction was priceless as I entered his house, the only person inside is me and him. His parents weren't there, so I thought they've just gone early. 

"You can stay here until you find new home." He said while fixing the pillows in the couch. I sat in there with him. I look at him as he get his phone from his pocket.

"You don't have to do this." I said. His eyes widened as he slowly look at me. He smiled.

"I have to. I realize that letting you stay is the best thing to be comfortable to each other. Maybe it well help us to solve the same problem." He said while texting on the phone. I'm just silent for a minute and look at him. 

"I'll find way to live alone. I promise." I said and stood up. I sat on the next couch. I get my cellphone from the bag. I saw many messages coming from my friends 'cause they knew that I move out of that house. But they never knew that I'm living now with King. I sigh thinking how I'm in trouble right now. Thinking how could I be this terrible now. I sigh once again.

"You have me." I heard his voice echoed in my brain.

You have me...

You have me...

I... have him..

I look at him as I realize, I smiled and run towards him and hug. "Thankyou." I said. While my tears falling down to my cheeks, I still have someone. I feel his arm hugging me, not so tight but a comfortable hug. I moved away while smiling. "Thankyou for these." I said and come back to my sit earlier. His face was stunned and later on he pays attention to his cellphone again. 

Maxi.

Hey. Where you'll gonna live right now? Do you wanna stay with me?

Me.

Actually, I think that's better since we're girls but is that okay to your parents? 

Maxi. 

I think they'll understand.

It's urgent you know, and they treat you as their daughter too.

Me.

Oh. Okay then I'll try, I'll text you again if I will move there.

Maxi.

Sure.

I look at King while he's busy chatting on his phone.  I cleard my troath and speak.

"My friend-Maxi.." The moment I speak his eyes look at me so I feel shy talking "Uhh, Nevermind." I said and get my phone again, I'm about to type that I can't go there just to reply Maxi when I saw King sat down beside me. He immedietly grab my phone from my hand.

"You'll live with them?" He said after reading the Conversation, I nodded. He frowned.

"No." He said and stood up. "You'll stay here until you find job and new place to call home." He said, He's about to move when I reached his wrist.

"I will still help you to fix this, I pro-"

"No. You'll not leave here. Solve or Not Solve the problem." He said, I sat at his couch and he moved to the couch he was sitting earlier. The awkward silence remain to the center of far distance between us. I sigh as typing that I couldn't go and stay. Maxi just make sure I'm safe yet this weird guy say no. 

"Let's have dinner at the rooftop." He said and walked toward his room, I sigh and lay down to the couch, can't believe this is happening to me right now. I just put my cellphone beside me and trying to sleep.

"Hey, wake up." I heard a manly voice while someone pushing me slightly just to wake up. My eyes widened as I saw King infront of me. "Are you alright?" He asked, I can see in his eyes worrying too much, I nodded. I was in shock by the time he lift me up with his shoulder.

"W-What you d-doing?" I said as I panic, Is he going to rape me? But I'm not ready yet.

"I told you we'll have dinner on the rooftop." He said, I realize that he wasn't going to do anything-not like what I thought. He let me down when he reach the roof top stairs. 

"You're heavy, I don't think so I could walk there while lifting you." He said while gasping air, I laugh loudly and it makes him irritated.

"If you just tell me you don't have to lift me up." I said and started walking. I feel his hand touching my arm.

"Don't leave me. You have to guide me atleast a thankyou." He said, I laugh again while holding his hand and guiding him upstairs. When we reach there, He sat down in the carpet.

"Wow. This is so Wow." I said while waving at the sky, He just look at me and wave too. I walk towards him and sat beside him. " This is the most beautiful sky I've ever seen. I said while starring the blooming sky beneath us.

"Cut the moment. We'll eat." He said while  opening the basket, I started helping him.

"Wow. Are you fan of Filipinoes?" I said while seeing him, He smiled while nodding. 

"Me too!" I said and he just smiled. The Awkward silence appear between us.

"Then let's have a trip in Philippines soon." My eyes widened as he said that. I shake his body while saying 'Really?'

"When? When?" I said while, Smiling to him. He just smirk.

"Eat unless you don't want to." He said, I frowned and ate the food on the lunch box. We're silent as we eat. He play a song and that was a song of Taylor Swift. Fearless. I smile while singing the song. This is the best thing happen to me. But I remember about our school.

"Hey.." I stopped talking when I'm chewing the Fried chicken. "Are we goin' together at school? Or we'll seperate?" He look at me.

"We'll go together." He said and pay attention at the food. I nodded.

"Ulap na kay ganda!" I said using tagalog language. I waved my hand again as I look up in the sky.

Translation; *Beatiful sky.* 

"You're studying tagalog too?" 

"Yea, since last year." I said while feeling the air that touches my skin. I found myself someone hugging me when I open my eyes. It's King...

"Close your eyes." He whisper, I did what he said and still feeling the air.

"Feel it." Kin was hugging me from the back, I closed my eyes feeling the air as he hug me tight from the back.

"I... Love ... you." I said.

My mind suddenly ache, What was that?! Is it about them again? I look at King and forcely remove his arm in me. He was in shock when I push him as soon as I removed his arms around me, My feet slide. King quickly reach for my hand ang pull me up.

 

"What's the problem?" He said as he help me to stand straight.

 

"N-Nothing." I said and run downstairs. I immediately enter my temporary room in that house. I feel my heart beat racing all over inside. I'm breathing heavily. I touch my chest.

 

You're haunting me again...

 

"Stop!" I said while scratching my chest as if my heart will stop racing. My tears were falling down. "I said stop! stop!" I'm shouting and shouting over that room. Still scratching my heart. It's red and there's a blood. I saw king entered the room. He made my hand stop scratching.

 

"That won't help." His voice is serious. I nodded. He help me lay down myself on the bed.

 

"Sleep that's all you need." He said, I nodded and the second thing I knew he kiss my fore-head. I just look away and try to pretend sleeping.
