Chapter 5: Burning desires

~THE NEW WORLD~

When Jessy opened the door, we were all shocked to see Linx, we thought it was Mr & Mrs Wilson, because they had left very early in the morning and so we expected their arrival

His eyes were extremely red, we knew that he had drained human blood to his full satisfaction

We didn't say a word to him, neither did he, so I decided to break the silence

"Hey Linx, where have you been man? We searched all over New York for you, but no sign of you" I said as I walked towards him and Jessy returned to her seat

"Are you retarded? Since when the fvck did you care about that? Get the hell outta  my way" Linx pushed me out of his way, but I resisted

"Not so fast, because you are older than me, gives you no right to disrespect you Overlord to be" I said looking him in the eyes

"Overlord to be you say huh? Now let's see how you handle my fist" Linx attempted a punch but I held his fist, forgetting the fact that am a full vampire and also a full werewolf

"How did you do resist that? Linx asked attempting another punch with his other hand, but I held it firm again

"I am a vamp-wolf (people who have both vampire and werewolf gene within their cells) I replied, ad I was about to retaliate, headlights flashed on our eyes, when I stretched my neck to see who it was, it turned out to be Jessy's parents

We quickly stopped the attempted fight, Dexter and the girls rushed to greet them, while Linx and I starred at each other like it was a starring contest 

I broke eye contact with him and went off to see our guardians, we welcomed them and asked them about their journey and encounter in the business pursuit

Later that night, I went outside while it was full moon, I started thinking about my mom, dad and Transylvania, just then I felt a touch on my shoulder, who could it be wondered? I turned to see, then I saw Jessy looking at me smiling, we exchanged pleasantries, she sat beside me consoling me

"Hi Luther" Jessy giggled, I wonder what made her do that

"Hi Jessy, you startled me" I said starring into space

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, so what's bothering you on your mind? Jessy asked

"Hmm, just worried about Linx, he's been acting so strange today, and it really bothers me, I hope he is alright" I said

"He is, he is just overwhelmed, consuming blood as he pleases, I think that's not all, your face looks so pale, anything else you wanna tell me? She asked starring at me

"No, nothing at all" I replied trying to fake a smile but it was of no use

"Come on, we both know that's not true, share your feelings with me please" Jessy pleaded 

"Ok fine, I've been worried since my parents pass on, first it was mom, I didn't even get to know her that much because she died when I was at a very tender age, and now my dad died before my own eyes, I couldn't save him, he was murdered by his most trusted aide, I won't forgive that brute, am gonna make sure he pays" I replied while tears dripped off my eyes

"Don't worry, all will be well, am so sorry for your lost, I hope that one day you go back to your home land and claim what is rightfully yours" Jessy consoled me holding my hands

"Thanks Jessy, I will make Drex pay the ultimate price, I will slay him with my own hands, feed his heart and body to vampires and werewolves, I said wiping the tears off my face

"I hope so, oh well am off to bed, tomorrow is the beginning of a new week go get some sleep, good night" Jessy said as she left for bed

"Good night Jessy" I replied

Soon enough I too retired to my room to rest my body and also cool my brain

After that day, Linx and I settled our dispute, while Jessy and I came came along, we often communicated we became more than friends, it turned out to be; i had feelings for her

It was a Sunday morning, we had all taken care of our house chores, we ate before we did the chores, they girls had woken up very early in the morning to prepare the dish, we were left with nothing, Mr and Mrs Wilson did not leave the house, because it was their day off, so we decided to go have some fun, leaving the both of them at home

Jessy took us round New York, the city was really amazing, we had gone shopping, we visited the Central Museum, mall, etc you name it, Jessy and I enjoyed ourselves we watched movies together, there was this vampire movie about stream in the theater, so we decided to go check it out

"Hey Luther, come check this out" Jessy said posting to a poster while I walked towards it

"Do you per chance know him? Jessy asked

"In the whole of Transylvania, no one like this" I replied, I saw a name written beneath it "DRACULA" which of course was my father's name

"This name belongs to my father, I guess its his story" I said, the show was about to begin so we quickly rushed to purchase tickets for the movie

When the show started, I began to flashback about my home town, the scenes were based on what had really happen in Transylvania, but the actors and geographical areas, were way nothing like that

I got to know many things that I knew not off while I saw tender, I saw my mom's character flow, I barely remembered the few days we had together, it turned out to be that the person responsible for my mother's death was Drex, as he poisoned her, that jerk's going to pay, I saw my character flow also, then I was about 200 years old, Jessy became a little bit confused about some parts, so I explained the actual scene better for her, I discovered that rulers of each kingdom, had the power to teleport and also open portals between the two realms (Judi Realm; The old world and Earth Realm; The new world), I wondered how they acquired that ability, because normal beings don't posses it, while still watching the movie, I saw a man appear before the 3 rulers of Judi Realm, he was regarded as "The one above beings Shalen" he bestowed upon them the power to do that, he told them that if they die, the power automatically transfers to their successors and also the ones in command of each kingdom, that was how I knew that I had the power to teleport and also open portals just like my dad and other rulers. 

The movie was over, so I wondered who wrote the scripts

"Who would have written this? The person must have been from Judi Realm and probably a dweller of Transylvania" Jessy and I enquired for the author, and it turned out to be...
