Chapter 1: Darkness

*Centuries ago, a time where Vampires, sphinx and werewolves lived together in peace, love and harmony, until evil covered the cloud of Transylvania*

My name is Luther, I'm a vampire from the old world, I am over 400 years old, I lived in Transylvania, my father was the over Lord (Dracula) my mom was a werewolf (Tania) from Romania (another city where werewolves and other creatures live)  but died 200 years after my younger sisters' birth, her name is Annabelle, she is 300 years old, I was to be dad's successor but everything changed when my father was killed, it was the day of my inauguration, we were ambushed by our own people, sects of disloyal elves and Sphinx, and it all turned out to be that the man behind all the master mind was my father's right hand man who is a sphinx

"How could you have done this to me you betrayed me and Transylvania, I gave you everything you ever wanted" dad asked while tears drips off his face

"Everything you say?? You gave me nothing, all you ever cared for was yourself and family, I was just the foolish errand boy, obeying all your commands without any complaints" Drex replied in anger

I made you second in command to the people of Transyl...(Drex cuts him shut)

SECOND??? I am second to no one, your reign is over, I AM THE NEW OVER LORD OF TRANSYLVANIA!!! 

"Drex please I will give you everything you wish for" dad pleaded 

"I don't want anything from an old bastard like you" Drex altered attempting a devastated punch 

(Dad intercepts the punch)

"Its like you are forgetting the fact that am a vampire" dads vampire speed and knocks him down from behind

Hmm interesting the battles is on, Drex transformed into his real sphinx form

Drex pushed dad with his strength but dad barely moved a inch

"How are you able to resist my attacks? moreover Sphinx are much more stronger than vampires" Drex asked surprised

"I am much more older than you, am 1000 years old while you are just 700" dad replied with an upper cut from below

Drex fell to the ground soon enough stood up with a Chinese get up, charging all his energy as we watched him from the palace entrance

"Now you gonna pay" Drex flies towards dad with another devastated punch but this time dad fell to the ground, groaning in pain, he didn't stop there the continued punching dad, we tried to to intervene but all our efforts was in vein as dad order us to stand back

"Stand back, this is my fight" dad stopped us as his got up and tried to fight back, he used mind compulsion to compel him to stop his act

"Stop this fight and withdraw your troops" dad compelled him

"I will stop this fight and withdraw my troops" Drex said as he laughs evilly,

You think you can compel me?? I was granted infinite power by the Goddess of Romania and among the power is mind compulsion resistance, so that won't work on me anymore, Drex explained as he ordered his troop to open all the veils so that sunlights can enter the palace as he knows we vampires are allergic to sunlight as its burns us

Everyone began to scream, the weaker ones among us died while the strong ones among us fought hard in closing the veils that protects us from the sunlight

"I see you all managed to conquer some of my army" Drex said as he gripped dad firm and places his fingers on dads neck

"Any inch you take onward your over Lord dies" 

"Stay down" Dad commanded, we had no choice but to surrender to Drex, dad managed to free himself off Drex's grip partially and creates a portal

"Luther!! You, your sister and your friends should leave  now" dad ordered as Drex forces his fingers through dads neck, I watched our over Lord and my father die before my own eyes, I couldn't do anything, I had no option but to follow dad's last command

"Should we go after them master? Drex's Men asked, but Drex told them to let them be

"Stand down, when the time comes they'd definitely come back for revenge" Drex said as he orders everyone to bow before him and call him over Lord

"All hail your new over Lord" Drex spoke out loud

"Long live the over Lord" the crowd responded as they bow down to their new over Lord.

Among the people that escaped with me were; 

Annabelle (my sister)

Linx (500 years old male vampire)

Dexter (380 years old male vampire) and

Tessa (400 years old female vampire)

We were all teleported to the new world, the age of humans beings, We landed at New York, inside someone's plantation, at night, a girl was coming with lights and some farm tools, maybe wanted to harvest something, I sighted her meters away due to my vampire sights, before she could approach us we quickly shape shifted to the form which she took (human form), when she got close to us she heard us humming

"Hello!! Is anyone there? Jessica said frightened, we all came out in human form to confront her, before she could scream I quickly compelled her

" Do not scream, take us to your house" I compelled, under mind compulsion she obeyed

"I will not scream, I will take you to my house" she took us to her house, we meet her father at the gate already waiting impatiently for her to get back from the plantation

"What the fuck are you doing here without my fruits and vegetables, and who the hell are these, your boyfriends and their sisters?? Mr Wilson asked angrily, just then her mom Mrs Elizabeth Wilson came to the scene, before she could even say jack, I compelled her and her husband, they allowed us enter their house, sheltered us and fed us

The next Jessy came to us with breakfast

" Here's your breakfast, eat up before they get cold" she said happily, thank you we all said, just then she was about to open the windows, I vamp sped towards her and held her hands

"How did you do that she asked surprised" I was about to compel her but I asked myself "what's the need of compelling her? I told her the truth about us being vampires of centuries from Transylvania

"Wow, are you really serious, I have been doing research on them but all my efforts were in vein, you are allergic to sunlight and garlic bulbs right and mostly feed on human blood and can't resist feeding on them right, I hope you don't feast on us" she said giggling

 "Yes I answered, but we promise not to feast on you" I replied, she seemed really excited, I too joined her when she told me she has remedy for that (vampires being able to move around during the day time and also resist the urge for blood feasting) she went inside her room, brought out some chemicals, mixed them together, then she dipped a bracelet into it and she wore it on my wrist, she opened the windows but surprisedly it didn't burn me

"Wow, sun rays no longer burn me, is this some sought of magic or something?"  I asked happily

"No silly, its science" she said laughing at me, I went towards my friends with the good new, Jessy gave them their own individual bracelets enabling them move around freely during daylights

Days past, her dad discovered that we were not learned so he decided to put us in high school, the same grade with Jessy, we have another ability, and that's the ability of grasping things very fast, so it was easy for us to meet up with lectures
