PROLOGUE.

The rain fell heavily, trickling on any thing it came across, its long lashes rested on the victims of its wrath. The sky still had its brightness, but the stars and moon had faded paving way for the climate change.

In the midst of this weather changes, a woman in white ball gown could be seen running after a limousine, which rode in its highest speed. Her voice choked from calling out to its owner, her chase becoming steepy, her hands feeble, wet hairs covering her face from seeing clearly, heart raced with grief and hope that the driver stops and come get her. This lady didn't mind the cold and terror of the rain. She suddenly stopped and stared at the moving car till it was out of her reach, she had realized that racing after that vehicle would turn out to be useless. It was hard to detect the tears in her eyes because of the rainfall. From her appearance, it could tell that her lover had abandoned her on the wedding day. This lady had a folded her fist, gazed at her feet which were bare and now chapped from the race they had encountered by its owner, especially on the rough ground. The bride scoffed, curled her feet and gnashed her teeth.

"He left, again" she muttered and yelped while holding her head which was about to explode. It was hard to accept that fact again neither could she think straight as her word spur around. Quickly, her legs diverted towards a bridge which was a distance away. Her mind was void of thoughts and all that rang in her mind of suicide. It was best she ended everything rather than facing the embarrassment over here. The dress she had on made it difficult for her to walk, even while she chased after her groom, she had to support the hems with both hands and lift high up to her thigh, hoping that he would hear her inspite of the heavy downpour. Rather than letting this gown restrain her, she tore it into shreds from below till it got to her knees, while she did that, she tried to fight back the tears from streaming down her eyes but it wasn't working and only sobbing got her.

"Why me?" She panicked fed up with her life, nothing was ever perfect for her.

Once she was done with thoughts over her life, she ran towards the bridge not minding the fact that her feet had bruises and were causing her head to throb. She held the guardrail, inhaled and attempted to climb to the top. Climbing the top rails and starring at the height of the bridge got her scared. The rain also made her vision quite blurry but she preferred it that way, than when having a clearer view of the height she was to jump. Below was a sea and certainly, she would drown to death. This bride climb down again, heaved a sigh and glanced at the sky. The rain had subsided, perhaps it needed the moon to stand watch as a witness over what was taking place. Her eyes were shut close, her hands gripped the rail and gave another attempt to jump, this time around, she was going to leave behind the fear that held her from intending to die.

No one cares, what was the need of staying on earth? Her head bow low at the sea which wasn't turbulent inspite of the heavy rain from earlier which of course had paused and gave way for the moon.

"Take me away" she chanted, spread her arms and let gravity take her off into the sea. Her eyes were opened inside the cold water, not making effort to swim or try surviving, afterall it was a death wish. She sinked slowly, deeper into the sea, her skin becoming pale white. While she was almost drowning, flashes of memories lurk in about her past life.
