**REIKA/ZARA**

I eyed the man who stood before me, anger darkening his features before he turned to the lady who walked in.

From their dialogue, my name is Zara and I was the Alpha's mistress.

Oh my goodness! The moon goddess put me in the body of a sinner!

How was I going to take my revenge if I was shackled to an overbearing Alpha?

I remained silent as the woman who he called Sofia heaped insults on me.

I didn't care about them anyway, what I had to do was find a way out of here.

Where was I anyway?

“You want to go off and select another harlot at the Luna choosing ceremony?” Sofia barked.

Her screaming was beginning to get on my nerves as my body screamed for rest, for some quiet.

But my senses turned alert as she mentioned that word.

A Luna choosing ceremony. If that is exactly what my mind says it is then that's my ticket to revenge.

I watched as the man who I realized was the alpha, Alpha Stephan pushed Sofia out. The name didn't ring a bell as I knew most of the Alphas in the region.

What pack was this? Who is he? Why does he look so dangerous?

“Zara, what happened earlier?” He barked, looking like he wouldn't take silence for an answer this time.

“I...I blanked out,” I replied, hoping he'd accept it.

I searched the body’s memory for a clue on who exactly existed before me, but it was blank, an empty page for me to start afresh on.

Just for six months. Except…

“You mentioned a Luna choosing ceremony,” I quipped, raising my eyes to meet his intense gaze on me.

He narrowed his eyes, his arms folded across his chest.

“Yes. I'm expected to choose a Luna today,” he replied.

I dragged my gaze away from him, my heart thundering as I wondered how to pose the question to him.

This body was a mistress, will it be right to enter a Luna ceremony?

Well, if I didn't ask I would never find out.

Fiddling with the dress I had hastily put on I returned my gaze to him.

“Can I join the ceremony?” I breathed, my breath turning ragged as I waited for his response.

He was silent for two heartbeats, scanning my face with an unreadable expression.

“You said no when I asked earlier. Why the change of mind?”

I facepalmed myself internally, wishing I was slapping the former owner of this body.

How dare you almost give my chance away?

“I just want a chance. It's not fair I'm just your whore only,” I replied, hoping he bought the excuse.

There was no doubt on his face as he nodded, sticking his hands into his pockets, and turned away.

“You can do whatever you want,”

I smiled happily to myself, turning towards the windows as I waited for the door to close.

My attention was immediately caught by the massive expanse of land spread before me.

Where exactly was this place?

I turned around just as the door slammed shut, rattling the hinges, and rushed towards the bedside.

I checked each compartment, seeing nothing but jewelry and trinkets. Nothing to indicate who the previous owner of this body was.

A knock drew my attention and I scrambled to put everything back in its place, forgetting this was my room.

“Come in,” I called out, taking a seat on the bed.

A young maid walked in, carrying several dresses on her arm alongside a silver crested box.

“My lady,” she curtsied and dropped the dresses on the bed.

Of course! If anyone should know more about this place then it was a maid.

“Hello,” I waved at her, plastering a warm smile on my face and hoping it didn't seem fake.

Her eyes widened as she limply waved back.

“Take a seat, please. What's your name?” I questioned, moving to create room for her on the bed.

“My name is Arya, my lady.” She replied, perched at the very edge of the seat, her face growing red.

What kind of person was I to elicit such a reaction from her?

“Arya, I fell some minutes ago and in the process had a slight concussion. I can't seem to remember any other thing apart from my name.

Can you tell me where I am?” I asked.

Her gaze immediately moved to my head before she met my eyes.

“Sure thing my lady. You are in Ravenclaw Pack, the largest and strongest pack in all three regions under the leadership of Alpha Stephan.”

I swallowed, my face turning pale at her words.

Ravenclaw pack was the most elusive and dangerous pack in the kingdom.

The only time its doors were opened to other packs was during ceremonies and events.

Alpha Stephan was known as the dark Alpha, feared for his strength and also his deadly rage which made him destroy without reason. How could I forget such crucial information?

I was reborn as his mistress? Oh, the moon goddess must be having a laugh wherever she is!

“What can you tell me about the Luna choosing ceremony? Alpha Stephan mentioned it.” I croaked.

“ It's a very unusual event, only happens when the alpha is yet to find his mate after 5 blood moons.

He was engaged to Lady Sofia for two years but due to her failure to give an heir, the engagement was broken and the Luna ceremony was fixed by the elders.”

I remained silent, my mind processing the information.

I had two agendas. Getting revenge, finding a mate, and getting him to mark me.

If I could play my cards right, alpha Stephan might just be the key to getting them all.

A mate doesn't necessarily have to be given by the moon goddess.

But to get all this, I had to become the Luna.

“Thank you, Arya.”

She nodded and stood up, going to the corner to drag a bathtub into the room.

“The alpha ordered me to get you ready for the ceremony. It will commence in an hour,” she stated.

I stood up, shuffling off the gown I wore, and stepped into the warm water, my mind putting schemes in place and a smirk spread on my face.

Reika is back to take revenge and the first on the list; Become the Luna to the most feared Alpha in the region.

Reika**“You did this?” He asked. It didn't seem like he needed an answer for that so I stayed silent, my chest heaving as the death look Lyra had in her eyes crossed my mind again. It was exhilarating. I could feel the blood pumping in my veins. If I had stayed in the room any longer, I'd have burst into laughter.I can't laugh in their face now. I had to hold it in.Stephan walked up to me and leaned against the wall.“Is today their death day?” He asked quietly.I caught a glimpse of him through the corners of my eyes a bit shocked that he didn't reprimand my reckless action.“Not yet.”“They're going to die soon.” I looked at the clock hanging on the wall and the corners of my lips lifted in a smile.“Two more minutes.”Right in time, footsteps echoed from the corridor.“Help me. I need some epipens!” I screamed then rested against the wall.Karin rushed towards where she stood holding two small cylindrical pens in her hands.“Thank you Karin, please tell Myron to hurry up for di

Stephan**I cursed under my breath, my hands fiddling with the buttons on my shirt as I walked down the hallway to our bedroom to pick up Zara.A mild irritation coursed through me. Irritation at myself for what my head still considered a pretty bad decision. There was no guarantee that Zara—Reika could be trusted and here I was putting her in charge of a deal that could potentially cost millions to the pack if it failed.I reached the door, knocked twice then stepped back.I only needed her to find who was behind the attack. I wasn't even sure about getting her to break the spell that hovered around me now that her identity was brought to light. The Reika that I knew wasn't the person that was in that body. The hinges on the door creaked softly and the clicking of heels followed.I turned to the door and almost got my breath knocked out of me.My wolf stirred underneath my skin, sending my breath raging and heat crawling up my neck.My eyes drank in her appearance, the red gown hugg

Reika**I didn't trust Stephan. My immediate instinct once to leave the room was to whoop for joy but I couldn't push of the alarm that slowly took over my system. It was going well. Our discussion went far too well.I loved being out of jail but I expected to be thrown back any time again.I slipped out of our bedroom, walked swiftly to my bedroom and shut the door securely.Once inside, I checked the hiding spots around the room. There was a piece of paper lying around somewhere which held my internal monologue of praying the moon goddess changes her mind and gives me more days on earth.I found the paper and immediately shredded it into unrestorable bits.I took out the wad of cash that Zara hid in the floorboards, stored it underneath my shirt and headed out of the room.I wasn't going to be back here except absolutely necessary. If Zara’s coward employer had a task for her, he knew where to find her.I returned to our bedroom and a bit of the alarm that ravaged my system began t

Zara/Reika**I could feel my body sway softly in my sleep, a slight breeze tickling the soles of my feet and my face pressed against a solid surface that smelled of aftershave and pinewood.I pressed my nose into it like a newborn, my fingers curling as a bubble of warmth spread throughout my body.I cracked my eyes open, my vision still slightly blurry but I couldn't see the dark damp walls of the prison anymore. My eyes shot open immediately. My body was in mid air. I looked up to see Stephan's face, a dark shadow covering his chin and a faraway look in his eyes.My mind travelled to my wrists as I could no longer feel the cool press of the handcuffs against it.It was gone, replaced by a deep angry red mark that was bleeding.“Stephan.” I mumbled.“You're awake.” he answered and continued to walk through the corridor. We passed a group of maids who lowered their head, a coy look in their eyes and their cheeks stained pink.I tried to jump to the floor but his grip under my knees on

Stephan**I found her words absurd. Strange and downright insulting.Every thought in my head was blocked out, replaced by the confession Zara no Reika made that morning. As a kid I had heard stories about souls appearing another's body but I assumed that was just what they were—stories.I didn't want to believe it. I refused to believe something like that could happen. But the more I broke the words down, the more the facts lined up as the truth. No, I wasn't going to accept that.Reika was alive and inside the body of Zara. Zara’s soul was probably gone to the afterlife. Zara was involved in a plot to kill me and now Reika was pulled into it too.Reika was killed by Kaid and Lyra. That part, I could very much believe as I had the same suspicions. She was pregnant when she died. I could understand the vengeance that drove her.But nothing else made sense. I refuse to believe it.I settled into my swivel chair and buried my face in my palm.I could just send out the orders to have her

Zara/Reika**My legs gave out when I tried to step out of the bed and walk to the table near the window.I crumbled to the floor, my white nightgown spreading like a fan around me.I bit my lips, grabbed the headboard and pushed myself off the ground.Stephan appeared next to me and before I could speak, his hands were tucked under my knees lifting and taking me to the table where a steaming bowl of chicken pepper soup was waiting for me.I settled into the soft cushioned chair and picked the spoon.Under his watchful gaze, I began to eat. Slowly to help me myself more time to present my cas well and to prevent choking on the spicy food.Stephan looked like he had the entire day or even week to spare. The spoon touched my lips and I winced from the cuts on it because of the chapped state.A balm appeared at my side in an instant.“Finish your meal first.” Stephan said when I looked up in shock I nodded and resumed eating till the soup bowl was empty. He handed me a glass of water, ma
