Chapter 114: The Call

Sofia's POV

I suddenly feel my phone rang in my pocket. When I checked it, an anonymous phone number pop to my screen. I turned around towards Drake, and he's busy in interrogating the beta. He's unaware that someone was calling me. I answer the call because I have this strong feeling that it's important. 

“Who is this?” I asked in the other line. My heart pounding so fast inside my chest thinking of who might be calling me. 

“Sofia…” My mouth agape from hearing my mother's voice. She was the one calling my name and the way she spoke my name, it gives impact into my heart. I missed her being so sweet with me.

“Mom? What happened?” I asked towards the other line. My mom heave out a deep sigh before she continued speaking.
