Taming the Cold-hearted Alpha

Sofia's POV

I was walking down the hallway alone when someone bumped at me and which made my stuff scattered on the ground. The moment which I'm about to pick up my things, when someone speaks behind me.

“You poor little thing. Look how pathetic you are.” My hand clenched upon hearing her voice. It's Olivia, my husband's mistress. A deep sigh escape from my mouth and continued what I am doing.

“Leave me alone, Olivia. I'm not fighting you.” I muttered in my cold tone, but she pulled my hair and which force me to get up from kneeling.

“I know, Sofia. You shouldn't fight me because your husband is obsessed with me.” She said, and I just close my eyes to endure the pain I got from her grasped.

“I'm not fighting you, Olivia. Please leave me alone. You have my husband, so what do you want?” I asked her, but Olivia only grinned at me.

“I hate you, Sofia and until you're there, I can't have Drake, but I promise you that, I will have him soon.” She said and left me alone. Tears streamed down from my eyes because of anguish. Olivia is making my life miserable here in school. He used to bully me and humiliates me in front of everyone, but what hurts me more is that, Drake never defend me towards her.

He's my husband, but he's allowing others to mock on me. Oh well, our marriage is just an agreement. To escape from my family, I agreed to marry him.

“What are you still doing here?” A male baritone voice made me awakened from my deep thoughts. When I lift my face, Drake's handsome face is what I saw. My heart pound upon seeing him in here.

“Drake, you came here.” I muttered at him. Drake extended his hand and which made me bite my bottom lip. I'm surprised as well because this is the first time when he extended his hand to helped me.

“Will you accept it, or you wanted to be scolded?” He asked me in his cold tone and for the second time, I bite my bottom lips before accepting it.

Upon touching his hand, I could feel bolts of electricity flows from our parted hands. Drake is my Alpha husband. We are living together for about two years, but he remained so cold towards me and in that two years, I've learned to love him regardless of the pain he made me feel.

“Do you have plans to go home, Drake?” I asked him after I finish picking up my things. He started to move his legs, and so I tried my best to follow his every step.

“Nah, you can go home with yourself.” He muttered towards me.

“Do you want something to eat? I can cook you and I will prepare your clothes when I got home after school.” I muttered towards him and which made Drake to stopped from walking to face me. He approached me then pinned me in the wall.

“I don't need your care, Sofia. Do you get it?” He asked at me on his cold voice. Tears streamed down from my eyes again because of what he said towards me. He's like this everyday.

“Why are you like this, Drake? You keep on hurting me. You even brought women's in our house, for Pete's sake!?” I muttered at him and which made Drake's jaw to clenched. He's about to punch me so, I close my eyes and waited for his fist to hit my face, but I heard him punch the wall, instead.

“Because whatever you do, you can't tame my cold heart, do you get it? You can't make me fall in love with you.” He said towards me.

Oh right, I have almost forgotten my plans towards him. I promise to myself that I will do everything I can do to tamed him. Giving up never cross my head and I will do my best to tame this cold-hearted Alpha even if he keeps on hurting me.

“Don't worry, Drake because I wasn't born just to gave up easily. I promise to you that I will do everything I can do to tamed your cold heart.” Drake, released me from his grip after I muttered those words towards him. His eyes are blazing in anger the way he looked at me.

“You better back off, Sofia because you can't tame this freaking heart of mine. I will always hurt you, remember that.” He said and left me alone. I wiped the tears from my eyes after Drake got vanished from my sight. My legs are trembling in pain and which made me to melt down the ground.

This is my consequences of loving the Alpha. Pain is what I got of loving him. I promised myself before during our wedding day that I will never fall in love to him, but damn.

My heart beats only for him and I can't freaking stop loving him regardless from all the things he showed to me. At first, I really thought that I would achieve a peaceful life after marrying Drake Grey. I thought, I have already escaped from my tremendous experiences from my family's hand, but I'm definitely wrong. My life becomes more chaotic when I become Alpha Drake's wife.

I have no freedom wherever I go. His fans at school mostly women keep on attacking me, and he wasn't there to defend me. I received hurtful words from the students of this school because of him. The only person who never leave me behind was my best friend. Her name is Agatha Wilson. She was always there to protect me from my bullies. She becomes my defender in times when I can't defend myself from my bullies.

My family doesn't even care about me. They were the reason I have decided to accept the Alpha's proposal. Aside from my reason to escape from them, they threatened me that they will abandon me if I won't agree. They choose money over me, and thinking that hurts me so much.

“What are you still doing here!?” My face lifted when I heard Drake's voice. He came back to where he left me and I can't explain the happiness within my heart because of what he did next towards me.
