Chapter sixty-two

ISABELLA'S POV

I was in the car anxiously waiting for Mattia and Dominique to give me the signal so I could drive the car forward and they hop in when I hear a knock.

My heart flew. I didn't see anyone when I looked out of the locked windows.

I waited for some more seconds and then a minute and yet no one showed up. I relaxed again when I realised it could have been just my imagination.

Some minutes were already gone and not a signal from Mattia or Dominique. I was getting worried. If at all they have been discovered and captured then I must try to find another way to help.

I stepped out of the car to take a look.

A hand gripped my neck from behind.

"Let me go!"

I screamed and kicked but something heavy landed on my head. Things became blurry and I passed out.

ALESSANDRO'S POV

I feel something cold like water drenching me. I tried to force my eyes to open but felt a sharp pain hit me and shut it back. Was it time for another torture…

My head was splitting open with a headache.
