Chapter sixty

ALESSANDRO'S POV

It has been days of perfect peace. Seeing Isabella everyday that I wake up makes me happy and at peace. Sometimes she wakes in my arms and other times she insists on sleeping in her room.

My insomnia surprisingly reduced to a great length. I stopped having nightmares of my mother being stabbed and other nightmares generally stopped to a point.

Life started to become meaningful to me and above all, I began to see life in a different approach.

Isa and I went on short road trips, shopping and anywhere she wanted while being wary of bumping into Chief Giovanni or any of his men.

But I wanted more. I wanted to leave freely and not hide from anyone. But as far as chief Giovanni and Lorenzo lives, I knew I would know not peace.

And most importantly I wanted to find my real mother. Not my step mother but my real mother.

Ever since I began to make money, I have searched for her but my search was slowed down for the fact that I had very little information about my mother.
