ALESSANDRO’S POV

“I have a minor job for you…” chief Giovanni said.

After the operation at chief Giada’s house, dropping Lorenzo off and driving to my base, I had tried to force myself to sleep off hoping to wipe the scene that happened at the operation. But sleep was far beyond my reach.

Not being able to sleep for long hours and peacefully like every other normal person has become a part of me which I had come to accept. And it had all begun the moment I got recruited by chief Giovanni and started the trainings. I had nightmares eight times out of ten that I manage to finally sleep and always end up staying days without getting a real sleep. Using sleep supplements was out of question as it gave me serious migraines most times I resorted to it.
