Watching

Rosalyna's POV

I watched as his breathing slowed and picked up at times, with the small whimpers that left his lips. I could only imagine what he was going through in his mind right now. I hadn't spoken to him in nearly three days. My brother laid on the bumpy sofa unconscious. I tried everything to wake him, from casting spells of energy, to slapping him repeatedly across his face and pouring buckets of ice water over him, nothing worked. He would slump back down onto the couch as soon as I softened my grip from around his shoulders. My brain and insides were churning with despair. Our mother had told us of the curse, but nothing rang through my memories on this ever occurring. I was at a lost for words and unsure of what to do next.

The only thing that I could think of was to cast a barrier spell next to the White Elves territory in hopes that if my brother's mate crossed over it would alert me to her prescence. T
