DAVE
Everyone thought of the Head Master's message. And it doesn't make sense at all.
"No one can go to any establishment here in the campus if you can't guess the hidden message of the Head Master. And when you figured it out, just tell it to the guard of the establishment you want to go to so they will let you in. Have a wonderful night, everyone!"
"How can this night be wonderful if we will have a headache because of solving that message," Eroll complained.
"Who are Willy and Elijah? Do they have significant effects to find out the hidden message?" Monica asked and tilted her head a little.
“What about you, Dave, I know you already figured out the answer,” Chris stated as if he was so sure.
"What about you, don't you know yet?" I asked back.
"I was trying to figure out."
"What do we do if Willy gets sick?" Eroll complained again.
"Let's go," I whispered to them.
"Wait, we haven't solved it yet."
"He already knows the answer," Monica beamed at us.
Chris applauded, "Aha! I knew it!"
"Please don't you say that you already know as well?" Eroll asked.
"Come on, we're going to lose space in the bar," I said sharply as many students were running now because they had already solved the hidden message.
"How about me, I don't know the answer yet," Eroll whined again.
"Then try to solve it," Monica urged him.
For sure, Monica already knew the answer because she was already smiling.
We were close to the bar when Eroll suddenly shouted.
"YES! I got it guys. Why did I over-analyzed. It was very easy!"
We just laughed because of his weird behavior.
"I'll take care of the guard, guys," he added.
"Oh, just make sure you answered correctly, because if you don't, you'll face the consequences," Monica threatened.
"Chill! Don't you trust me?"
Eroll even stared at the bouncer before he said the secret message.
"WELCOME!"
Willy got sick, but
Elijah is here tonight
Lucky he is
'Cause he will enjoy this party.
One, Two, Three, Four, he counts
Making his world go round and round
Expecting you to do the same
"The first letter of each line is the answer. Willy and Elijah had nothing to do with that Message. So easy."
"Well it took you more than 5 minutes to get it."
“You may now enter, John Eroll Rodriguez, Dave Zyfford, Monica Ruis, and Christopher Enriquez,” the bouncer declared.
The bar was packed of students now, but since we are elite students, there was a space reserved for us. When we sat down, my colleagues and I ordered for our drinks. I have noticed an increase in the number of elite students in addition to the consistent top 10 of each section.
When I got my order I went to the terrace but I didn't expect anyone would bumped into me and poured my clothes with what she was drinking. Because I’m in a bad mood right now, I yelled at her.
"What?! Didn't you see me?"
"I'm sorry," she said and bowed, clearly affected by my sudden outburst.
"Well, you should. Now, how are you going to pay for this?"
The girl who poured her drinks on me was about to speak when a woman preceded her.
"She didn't intentionally pour her drinks into your clothes so she doesn't have to pay for that."
And who was she? An new student, huh?
"Don't you have some sense of Justice here? I thought the goal of this school is to reveal the Truth?" she spat sarcastically.
"And is it not fair to ask her to pay for my ruined cloth?"
"Well, in my humble opinion, it's not."
I approached her but I could not see any trace of shock or fear on her face. I was taken aback because everyone I approached would show a submissive behavior and I was used to it. Doesn't she know who I am?
I walked even closer to her until we were only half a meter away from each other. That's when I realized who was in front of me. I have a photographic memory so I remembered her and I couldn't be mistaken that she was Agent 499.
I even went over and whispered to her, "Make sure you know who you're talking to, or else, you'll regret it."
I looked at her one last time but her face was still blank and without a trace of any emotion.
"Hey, David what's that?"
"You shouldn't have done that," Monica preached.
"And why not?" I retaliated.
"You're just embarrassing yourself. You should have just accepted her apology," Chris replied.
"Whatever you say," I said then stormed out.
The next morning, everyone woke up early for the Results Day and the First day of classes.
Everyone, including Chris, was already staring at the Information Wall. And as expected, they are now lined up in the Detective section. The students gave way when they noticed my arrival.
"Wow! Our savior in the long line is here," Monica announced.
"David, please see what my rank is," Eroll pleaded as he struggled to insert himself into the sea of students who were also trying to take a look on their section.
I picked up my cellphone and took a picture of the Detective Results section.
"Wow, you're really smart Dabid, how come we didn't thought of that?" Eroll said, sounding amazed. I just shook my head at his behavior.
I gave Eroll the cellphone and he started reading the Result.

“There were new students who made into the top 10,” Chris commented.
"Yes, and surprisingly, you maintained your rank. I guess I'm the only one who didn't," Monica blubbered and avoided our eyes.
"Hey, cheer up. You can do better next time," Chris comforted her instantly, rubbing her back.
Monica just smiled back at us before she left for first class.
I wonder who were those two. Let's see what they got.
ZANAYAI repeatedly called Dave as he ran after the man wearing a hoodie.I could do nothing, but follow them too.We arrived at the airport near the victim's house and the chase took us all the way inside, to the comfort room of the airport. We saw the suspect went inside the CR, but he suddenly disappeared from our sight."Where is he now?" Dave asked. He was still gasping for breath. In the hallway of the CR, six people came out.First was a civilian-- a man, quite tall, carrying a suitcase and wearing a brown jacket, and eyeglasses, and he also looked sweaty.I immediately cornered him so that he wouldn't go away. I showed him my ID as a detective so that he would cooperate.Later, a woman also wearing a jacket, tall, somewhat stout, and somewhat dark, came out of the CR. There was another girl with her and she
ZANAYAI was running...Again.But this time, I was not running away from him. I am actually running towards him."Hey, Zyfford!" I called him.He immediately turned to me. One of his eyebrows was raised while holding the papers that had been scattered earlier on the floor."You got something there?" he questioned.I approached him and held my phone in front of him showing the evidence I captured from the crime scene. His eyebrows knitted in confusion. "And what should we do with a letter to a family?"I clicked my tongue. It looked like the great Dave Zyfford lost his touch on Detective works."Duh. It could be a great help for us to solve the case," I stated in a matter of fact tone."Babe, you've got to be kidding me," he said which mad
ZANAYAHe showed me his dazzling smile again. The typical silent-type guy who had his own way on making girls drool over him. That's Christopher Enriquez."Ah, here's my gift," he murmured shyly after a moment of just staring at each other.Arya let out a laughed as she nudged Monica on her side to which the latter just ignored and simply gave me an encouraging smile.I took it and stared at the box. "What's this?""Open it, quick!""Wow, ha! You're even more excited, Eroll," Arya commented. Eroll clearly ignored Arya's remark and just stared at the box as if anticipating it to explode or whatever. This better not explode or else I would throw it at Eroll's face."Open it," Chris urged with a smile.I shrugged my thoughts away and I began opening it. I was surprised when I saw a calculator inside. It
ZANAYAI stopped my car at the place where he currently stays. It's the place where I wouldn't even thought of visiting, but here I am inside the car, contemplating whether to get out or drive away and hide again. However, I kept on reminding myself for how many times that there was no room for cowardice. I needed to face my past so that I could move on towards my future. The things that happened to me a year ago were incomparable. It was an experience that was worth sharing as it had impacted my whole life to become the person I've become today. Life had made me tougher. It made me realized that truth always prevail no matter how much effort we exerted just to hide it. I've learned that trust was such a precious thing you could give to anyone. Trust was fragile too. It's delicate. If it was broke once, it would be hard to glue the broken pieces together.I let out a sigh. This is it.I pushed the door and got out of the car. Now,
CHRIS"Where are you after the defense?" Eroll fired the first question to a woman. Her wide eyes widened even more when she realized that the question was being addressed to her."I-I'm in the lobby, I'm about to go home that time..." she answered in a shaky voice."What about you?" Eroll inquired another student."My group and I are in the Cafeteria," the girl replied nonchalantly. She seemed to not care that she's one of the suspects and clearly unbothered by what's happening. Either she's not involved or she's just good at hiding emotions.Eroll continued to ask questions until he reached the frowning man who had been suspicious to me ever since I saw him."I'm in the lobby too," he replied sparingly. He and Eroll even held eye contact for a while before the latter averted his gaze to us.We sorted the students who we
CHRIS"Chris! Let's go. You're really slow," shouted Monica who was outside the headquarters with the others.I let out an irritated sigh when I failed to tie my shoe laces properly."Seriously?" someone blurted in front of me.I looked up and saw Monica's annoyed face.I got up and faced her. "I'm done!"After saying that, I pinched her nose and ran to the door while laughing so hard. She groaned audibly as she tried to catch up."Is everything complete?" Dave asked who was seemingly bored judging by his usual dull eyes."Aye! Aye! Captain," Eroll replied playfully. They started walking towards the car.Today, we were invited for a case. And guess what, everyone was excited since it's been a long time since we were able to solve real case
