Summer

My heartbeat hammered in my ears as they called my number. I couldn’t believe I was doing it. I had seen the email from the sex club, the one where I had a one-night stand with Damon, about the auction night where all the proceeds would go to charity for homeless people. 

I showed it to Damon after a late night at the office. 

“What?” Damon had asked, quirking his brow. “Do you want to parade your body and make me bid on you?” 

I had agreed because I loved the auction trope in mafia romance, and I’d be lying if I didn’t want to try it. 

“Look at her!” The host cheered when I stepped out of the curtains and onto the stage.
